Multiple owners for CTA

I have often come across Customer asks - If they can assign a CTA to more than one owner? At times more than one team are involved during customer journey and even though the playbook tasks can be assigned to different owners but also CTAs need to have more than one owner from respective teams.

Is there any roadmap for this in near future?

@Anshita I am hearing this new. I will have to confirm with the product team. Thanks for sharing it here!

@Anshita Can you please elaborate on some of their use cases?  Typically for CTA, there might be multiple things to be done. These are generally defined as tasks and each task can be assigned to a person. This also ensures that the users close only their portion of the work (i.e. their task).

@sriram pasupathi Thank you for looking into this.
Here is the example -

Say there are two teams in an Organisation : Services and CSMs. Certain phase of the customer journey needs to be notified to both these teams because both the teams work simultaneously. I agree, the tasks can have owners from both the teams but then multiple teams want to get notified when this CTA gets triggered.

@Anshita When each owner is assigned to a task in the CTA, a notification is triggered every time a task is assigned to them. So each time a CTA is triggered (along with the tasks), notification will go to each stakeholder. Please let me know if that helps. Thanks.

@sriram pasupathi Yes, I am aware of this functionality and I understand that we can have the task assigned to different owners. Customer asked me if a Services team person and CS team person, both can be the owners so that if they want to change the task owners under them, it is easy for them. Both teams work individually. Although, I informed the customer, we don’t have such functionality and we implemented the CTA utilising the fact of different ownership at task level.

Thank you for the response :)

I would also like this feature to be looked into. When you have a CSM and an implementation specialist working with a client at the same time it would be nice to have one playbook with both people in it vs two separate playbooks
