Hi team, When ever user change the license type and permission bundle they need have one more step to send Welcome email. When ever they save changes User status move to pending, if a Welcome is triggered manually then it shows “Welcome email sent “ but User did not received it, Customer wants to change the message to that “Status is in pending, send Welcome later” or the email should be delivered properly.
It would be great to have the ability for timeline entries to be pushed out to Slack channels. We have an internal process where by we keep everyone involved on the customer account updated on customer communications and engagements. Currently there are two approaches to this by different CSMs.Create timeline entry, send it as email and email it to the Slack channel’s email address so it posts into Slack as an email. Send a Slack message into the channel with meeting notes and use Gainsight Sally to then post it to Timeline. There are too many clicks and required edits to format it into timeline. Also you lose the ability to create CTAs by adopting this approach (I think from memory)Thanks!
Change the label for Bubble ReportsNo Status
Hey Team, Working with a customer and we are looking fro a way to enable a "sticky" data on a field in the "Group By" section of the report. In the attached screen shot, the highlighted label defaults to a "Show Me" field (SUM of ARR), but I'd like it to show a "Group By" field (Customer Name).
Have the ability to update the customer on an Email to Timeline that went to the wrong accountNo Status
For example, an email address for contact happens to be on multiple customer accounts and when an email is logged to Timeline, GS prompts the user to choose the agency to log the Timeline to. If the user chooses the wrong customer, they would like the ability to change it to the correct one. Right now you have to create a ticket to have the backend team fix it.
We have just installed the Gainsight Assist Outlook plugin. I have noticed that when logging an Activity from an received email, the activity that is logged on the Timeline only includes 1 contact in the External Recipients field even though there are multiple valid contacts on the email. Is this standard functionality or is there something we are doing wrong while logging the activity?
MySql / MariaDB ConnectorNo Status
It would be very valuable to have a connector to MySQL / MariaDB databases. Today we have two work arounds. One is try to make Adoption Explorer work which is not great for anything but really logging data. The other is to push data to S3 and then pull it which is not ideal. We would like to be able to connect to this type of db via a connector job and possibly other places like data designer or rules.
Posting on behalf of the customerCustomer wants to be able to complete other actions while editing comments on a CTA, without the comments disappearing before saving. Something similar to the timeline draft functionality. Is this something that we can create a roadmap for?
I did a change and removed one of the failed participants for a program in journey orchestrator, then refreshed participants. The last modified date stays the same. The date should change to reflect an action has been done on the program.
When replacing a Playbook in the tasks list, the new playbook items are mixed in with the older completed items (see below). Can the previous playbook completed tasks be grouped together at the top, and the new playbook tasks be grouped together at the bottom instead?
In Adoption Explorer (AE), I would benefit significantly some mechanism that supported an automated retry or a true-up of previously ingested time-series data.In my particular use case of ingesting from Redshift, if my time-series data doesn’t happen to be available on the time-based schedule I’ve configured within AE, I ingest incomplete time-series data. (Redshift might be down or flaky, or my data warehouse team may be reporting delays in data availability). Currently, once I discover that, I manually perform a Historical Run. Nice, but some re-try or true up automation could be great here.I’m trying to escape the “you’ve got one moment to grab data, and it has to be ready at that precise moment or you miss out” scenarios. As potential solutions, let me ingest for 1 day in arrears and also 2 days in arrears. This way I know I have a non-manual fallback, and also any corrections or updates made in Redshift to my source data are ingested to Gainsight.Or, provide more “kickoff” options
Survey Preview FunctionalityNo Status
When I am previewing a Survey and validating my questions, formatting, etc., I should not be blocked by the ‘required question’ error messages. This forces me to fill out each question before being able to move on to the next page, something I should be able to bypass when previewing and finalizing Survey content.
I’d like the ability to create 2 different visualizations on a dashboard for the same report. For example, if I have a report of all Risk CTAs I want to see a table on a dashboard indicating detailed information like next action due, reporting category, days due, etc. but I also want to display a widget showing the number of total risk CTAs open. I’ve been doing this by cloning reports and adjusting, but this means that I am just creating more and more reports with essentially the same data.
In Report Builder, you have the ability to create a formula field to return Month name. However, you are unable to sort that field chronologically now and are stuck with months in alphabetical order which is undesirable.Months sorted alphabetically Desired order for months listed above would be:January March April June A proposed workaround is to have an additional column with the date field to sort on. However, this does not work if you have row grouping enabled for your Month name field, as sorting function sorts count of dates and does not sort the underlying dates.
Preview CTANo Status
Would love to have a Preview option for CTAs to be able to see exactly how it would appear to the end user. This is would especially helpful for JO Programs using a CTA step where you are mapping tokens, etc, and would like to see how they appear, but I can also see it being helpful in the Rules Engine. I’m thinking just a simple Preview button that you could click, and it would display the details you configured inside the actual CTA framework.
CTA and Timeline entry look upNo Status
Currently you can link CTA to a timeline entry however for reporting purpose I can not measure or see how many timeline entries were written per CTA. We use timeline entries to help us measure the success of our CTAs as well as activities generated from out CTA. Current process is to create a data designer which is not fun. If we had a look up value with the Timeline object that looks up to CTAs. The same would apply for success plans, we do not always have a visibility to the success plans within the timeline object.
