Re-Enable SFDC Classic Links in Gainsight Email NotificationsResponse from Customer

Our org uses NXT through SFDC and we recently discovered that URL links in the daily/weekly CTA digests now link to Lightning instead of Classic. Our team still uses Classic. As a result, these links no longer work for the team. We intentionally have our team login to NXT through SFDC for reporting and SAML reasons so switching the links to NXT-only is not practical. After talking with Support, it sounds like there are currently no plans to allow for Classic links in these emails. This seems like this decision would negatively impact any customer that still uses Classic. Any chance that this will be reconsidered?

Remove Email Inbound Configuration when user is inactivatedResponse from Customer

Right now the the Email Inbound Configuration is separate from the user management. It would nice that if you inactivate a user from user management, it would also remove the user from Inbound Email Configuration

While assigning owners in playbook s currently gainsight supports only Account and customer info user lookup fields. Is there a roadmap where gainsight will support other objects which as well with user lookup fields.These other objects do have a look up on account object.

Decision Trees in PlaybooksResponse from Customer

Hi all, A quick question around playbooks. We are looking at implementing new playbooks for our 2020 CS strategy.  One thing we want to do is be able to give decisions a bit like the below:   Q: Is the implementation by - A) Partner                                                      B) Our PS team?   If A is selected it creates one set of tasks, if B is selected if creates another set of tasks.   Hopefully that makes sense and any help is greatly appreciated.

Upsert/Update Operation in S3/Rules EngineResponse from Customer

Currently we have below limitations in update/upsert operation 1) In S3, we can select only 5 keys as identifiers 2) In Rules, we can select only 3 fields as key identifiers per data type. To overcome these limitations, we can have MD5 option to generate unique 32 bit character string. MD5 takes fields(should be concatenated as a string) as input and it gives unique 32 bit string. This field can be used in update/upsert operations. There is no limitation of number of fields to be used in MD5. We can select any field with any data type in MD5. Moreover, performance will be good if we use one key while updating table instead of having condition on more than one key.

Concat operation to function same in Rules and Gainsight Data managementResponse from Customer

Currently, the difference in behavior of concat function in Rules and in Gainsight data management(GDM) is how we handle empty strings. While in GDM we truncate empty strings, but rules does not. Request to make the behavior consistent in both areas.

Email to Timeline from a group email addressResponse from Customer

In our CSM structure we have a group of CSMs who are responsible for a pool of accounts. They all have individual liceneses but they send their email from the pooled email not their individual emails. I know it is not currently supported without using another license for Gainsight, but was wondering if there is anything in the future about being able to support this with a lot of companies moving towards a pooled model. We actually have 3 pools which are divided by region.

Ability to send initial survey multiple timesResponse from Customer

Currently in out survey program models we are not allowed to send the initial survey after the customer has responded.  It would nice to see the ability to send the initial survey multiple times with in the survey after the customer does respond.

Rounding up on percentages vs decimals in reportsResponse from Customer

Hello,Is there a way to round up on the percetages dispalying instead of having decimals in our reports.For ex, we have a pie graph that shows Sum of ARR by Stage.The ARR field is set to ‘display 0 decimal places’.  Yet the results display with decimals instead of rounding. Any insight would be appreciated.

Horizon Analytics RSS WidgetResponse from Customer

Would it be possible to add an RSS feed widget for dashboards in Horizon Analytics? I like the new webpage feature, but often adding a whole website iframe when you just want to pull in for example a blog page adds a load of noise and the additional menus which can make it hard to read the content you are interested in.An RSS widget would let us bring in just the content we want and have this highlighted on our dashboards in a cleaner way. Thanks

Autofill S3 dataset task naming conventionResponse from Customer

When creating an S3 dataset task from bionic rules, can we please consider autofilling the "[i]MDA-Data-Ingest/input/" [/i]prefix for file names that come from Gainsight's Managed S3 bucket? Or at the very least, put an in-product guide that reminds admins to put that prefix in front of their file name.

Horizon Timeline: Ability to set default notes sizeResponse from Customer

We have received feedback from CSMs that the new Horizon Timeline experience compresses notes too much, in a way that makes it more difficult to see when on a call with a customer. It would be great to have CSMs be able to set the compression on timeline. If they had an option to see all notes at one time like the other timeline, or to compress like the new experience, that would help address this.

Ability to Map More Fields Into Attributes - Zendesk WidgetResponse from Customer

Currently, you can only bring in attributes into the ZD widget per configuration. I have a customer that has a variety of custom fields they would like to have displayed on the widget. In order to configure this, they have to use the UI settings for c360. This limits my ability to bring anything in thats not on the account object.

Access issue when NXT tenant is switched to new or different tenant.Response from Customer

As per the NXT design, we consider username as the unique identifier by default in the SFDC connector job. Now -1. Create a salesforce connection in Gainsight and complete the user Sync. This will create the user 1 in Gainsight.2. Connect Gainsight to another environment/sandbox with similar data this will create another User 2 in Gainsight.3. Now since there are 2 users with same Id.4. Make User 1 as inactive and assign all the permissions to User 2.5. User 2 in salesforce will see a blank screen.Workaround is to deactivate the User 2 and assign the right permission for User 1.This is not acceptable approach and would need a feature enhancement for the current functionality.

I would be helpful to be able to better define the reasons on a scorecard for reporting purposes. This would help us categorize and understand what reasons tend to flag a drop in a score than a freeform text field

NPS 2.0 ReportingResponse from Customer

It would be nice if the new NPS Survey Response object contained the free response NPS comments in a more consumable form. To clarify, I'm not talking aboutthe default NPS comment question, I mean responses from the unique survey questions we create. As opposed to using the default "comment" section directly under the NPS score rating, we prefer to use survey logic to direct the customer to a more tailored question concerning their score reasoning. Having to pull those free responses from a flattened, survey-specific object is not very scalable for future reporting and requires a lot of re-creation of reports for ongoing dashboards.

inconsistency with the "padlock" icon for unavailable fields in C360 Attributes sectionResponse from Customer

I had a customer bring to my attention that in the C360 attributes section the "padlock" is causing some confusion for users to know what they can and cannot edit. In the image below from my demo org I am able to replicate. All the fields below except for 3 or 4 I left unchecked for "editable" and they are just showing greyed out rather than with the padlock. Can we make it to where the padlock is always there for uneditable fields? Display amounts in user's currency for the Mass Edit Scorecard visualization reportsResponse from Customer

Hi,We have an amount field with data type “currency” on our company object. The currency of that field may vary, some use EUR, USD, INR, CAD, SEK etc. When including this field in the “Mass Edit” report type the amounts are displayed in different currencies (the ones originally stored on the company) which makes it hard to compare, filter or sort.It would be helpful to be able to select a preferred currency, or use the currency of the logged in user to calculate the amounts to the same currency in the report. thanks!/David

Track open/click rate data on the people in the "cc" line for JO programsResponse from Customer

I was wondering if there is a way to get open/click rate data on the people in the "cc" line for JO programs. I know the "Email Log" object allows you to see click rates for folks in the "to" line, but it doesn't seem to include the cc line.

Hello Team,"Load to people" action Execution summary sheet won't show the records affected, it will show only the summary. In case of any failure records in the execution, we will show in the rule result sheet.Currently it seems like a limitation.It's very important for customer to be able to see affected records in these logs.Could you please check on this request, if we could implement this in the future!

Idea. The ability to copy filters during the 'Setup Rule' step.Response from Customer

For some of our rules when we're only needing a [i]few accounts - that really don't have any common factors, it would be awesome there was an easy way to copy a filter that you already have in place.  [i]Granted it doesn't take much work to also just drag the same filter field over x times - but hey, just a thought. :)
