Tracking Expansion (Growth) OpportunitiesResponse from Customer
I'm looking to track growth opportunities to create a pipeline of customer opportunities by increases in usage. Like SFDC tracking a deal value, i would like to track a new growth opportunity by either an usage increase and/or revenue potential.
Field that imports the most recent comment in a ZenDesk thread into Gainsight for addition to the Customer 360Response from Customer
Hello! I was wondering if there were plans to expose a field that allows users in Gainsight to see the last comment posted to a given ZenDesk thread. I can see that the "Description" will bring the body into Customer 360, but this request has come up repeatedly from my org so I wanted to find out! Thanks!
S3 Data Ingestion Job and Advance OptionResponse from Customer
S3 ingestion jobs are very helpful to automated upload to MDA and I feel following enhancements will add more value 1. Allow truncate option before loading data - 2. Allow building dependency between S3 ingestion job or 3. Allow either calling S3 Ingestion job after load is completed.
Idea. In the Rules Engine, S3 Dataset - Add M/D/YYYY H:MM as an DateTime Format Option.Response from Customer
To give some quick background - I'm migrating from using the Connector, to using the S3 in the Rules Engine. And in one of the reports that automated to me from our Service Desk has a DateTime field. After a few trial and errors a lot of Partially Failed reports - I found that because some of my time entries don't have a leading zero, M/D/YYYY HH:MM isn't working. I'm in need of a M/D/YYYY H:MM option. Anyone else running into this?
Survey Preview URL Link for NXT in SalesforceResponse from Customer
While trying to set up an internal email for our CSMs whenever a customer responds to our NPS survey, I noticed that the the default Survey Response Page URL field is an NXT URL. We required our team to login to NXT via SFDC. As a result, the default URL is prompting users to login to NXT instead of displaying the actual survey response. This caused some confusion so we’ve removed the default URL for the time being.It would be helpful if Programs had a response URL that was compatible with SFDC-NXT, or at least the ability to grab the survey response GSID so we could create our own dynamic URL links.
inconsistency with the "padlock" icon for unavailable fields in C360 Attributes sectionResponse from Customer
I had a customer bring to my attention that in the C360 attributes section the "padlock" is causing some confusion for users to know what they can and cannot edit. In the image below from my demo org I am able to replicate. All the fields below except for 3 or 4 I left unchecked for "editable" and they are just showing greyed out rather than with the padlock. Can we make it to where the padlock is always there for uneditable fields? Rules Engine: Add Rule DateTime as a field optionResponse from Customer
We use the Rule Date field to load a “snapshot date” to certain objects for historical tracking. It would be very helpful to be able to load the Rule Date as a DateTime field for greater granularity when troubleshooting. For example, if we have a certain rule that updates values every 2 hours, the time granularity would be helpful in understanding when an error may have occurred (incorrect value loaded, etc.).
Success Plans Modify Date updated when CTA or Timeline associated is updatedResponse from Customer
It would be great for the modified date on the Success Plan to be based on max date of a timeline entry or CTA modification. We are trying to encourage CSMs to update the CTAs and Timeline entries to help us track how often they are interacting with the plan. Right now, the modify date only updates when you close the plan, which is not a true reflection of how often a CSM is interacting with the plan.
Rules Engine: Allow stat functions to be groupedResponse from Customer
It would be helpful if bionic rules allowed you to use GroupBy when adding a stat formula to the dataset. Use case: When calculating something like standard deviation and z-score for a customer's usage, I would like compare their most recent usage to their usage historically– for things like health score and CTAs. If I can calculate a customer's average usage for the past X number of weeks and standard deviation for the distribution and weekly usage, I can compare the most recent week's usage to their historical average and know how significant the delta is for that customer. The reason I would want to do this on a per-customer basis as opposed to calculating the stdev across all customers, is that we have (as I would imagine is the same as a lot of Gainsight customers) such a wide-range of usage patterns across customers. And I wouldn't necessarily want to compare, for instance, low-tier customer's usage against the aggregated average and stdev of all customers. What's helpful
Update templates of Success Plans after they are active/in useResponse from Customer
Would love to be able to make updates to Success Plan templates after they have already been applied and made active by the CSMs. We recently rolled out a robust Success Plan for the entire team to use, and there were minor changes I wanted to make, but they wouldn't be applied to the Success Plans already in flight/underway. Would be great to be able to do that.
Re-ordering of Action Groups in rule engineResponse from Customer
Hi Team, One of my customer is build a rule with multiple tasks and they have linked each task with group of actions and each group has multiple actions in it. Currently we can re-order the actions in each group. Is there any way for me to re-order action groups in the rules engine? Basically they need the group shown at the bottom to run before the other actions that precede it. Currently, users don’t have any way to do it and they deleting the action and re-creating it again. NPS 2.0 ReportingResponse from Customer
It would be nice if the new NPS Survey Response object contained the free response NPS comments in a more consumable form. To clarify, I'm not talking aboutthe default NPS comment question, I mean responses from the unique survey questions we create. As opposed to using the default "comment" section directly under the NPS score rating, we prefer to use survey logic to direct the customer to a more tailored question concerning their score reasoning. Having to pull those free responses from a flattened, survey-specific object is not very scalable for future reporting and requires a lot of re-creation of reports for ongoing dashboards.
Auto-magically convert Connector Ingest Jobs to S3 Ingest RULESResponse from Customer
[u]User Story[/u] Once upon a time, an admin managed a large number of ingestion jobs via S3 Connector and needed to modify the parameters, (S3 folder paths specifically in this tale). When our friend The Admin reviewed the S3 Ingestion RULE setup, The Admin noticed there there was much PARITY betwixt the configuration of the two!! He sat and pondered...could a potential script be magically construed in order to alleviate the burden of this Admin and perhaps MANY others across the land? Hoping this story could end with "And there was much rejoicing!!!" Any other "The Admin's" out there with a similar challenge or pending maintenance item to update these to Rules?

Hello, I would like to see the ability to customize timeline activity fields specific to a relationship, regardless of whether the activity type is global. For example, we have “Update” as a global activity type. Because it is global, I am unable to edit it in the “configure for” at the relationship level. When I wish to add a relationship-specific field, I must add it to the global Update activity. Because of the reports, dashboards and other infrastructure built off the Update activity type, I do not wish to create a new relationship-specific activity type.
Cockpit - Configure List View - Add FieldsResponse from Customer
It would be helpful if you could add configuration to be able to define the order of fields in the cockpit list view. While it is great to have the fields chosen saved between sessions...having the order set would be helpful. Multiple new customers have brought this up.
Upsert/Update Operation in S3/Rules EngineResponse from Customer
Currently we have below limitations in update/upsert operation 1) In S3, we can select only 5 keys as identifiers 2) In Rules, we can select only 3 fields as key identifiers per data type. To overcome these limitations, we can have MD5 option to generate unique 32 bit character string. MD5 takes fields(should be concatenated as a string) as input and it gives unique 32 bit string. This field can be used in update/upsert operations. There is no limitation of number of fields to be used in MD5. We can select any field with any data type in MD5. Moreover, performance will be good if we use one key while updating table instead of having condition on more than one key.
Have the ability to set advanced logic to merge criteria in Rules EngineResponse from Customer
It would be ideal to be able to add advanced filter logic to merge criteria when merging two datasets in bionic rules. This would allow us to reference two fields where the identifier could be present to merge the data on. Currently, we have to perform to separate merges for each criteria and then merge the reports together a third time to create a final dataset.
Re-Enable SFDC Classic Links in Gainsight Email NotificationsResponse from Customer
Our org uses NXT through SFDC and we recently discovered that URL links in the daily/weekly CTA digests now link to Lightning instead of Classic. Our team still uses Classic. As a result, these links no longer work for the team. We intentionally have our team login to NXT through SFDC for reporting and SAML reasons so switching the links to NXT-only is not practical. After talking with Support, it sounds like there are currently no plans to allow for Classic links in these emails. This seems like this decision would negatively impact any customer that still uses Classic. Any chance that this will be reconsidered?
Ranking in Pivot ReportsResponse from Customer
I have a customer request to be able to apply ranking to a pivot report. The specific request is to be able to sort/rank by whatever the customer chooses. For example: If the pivot report is cases month over month, give the user the ability to rank based on either overall case count or most cases last month etc.
Allow suppression of the "Action" column on C360 related listsResponse from Customer
I thought this had been posted previously, but I cannot find it. Admins should be able to suppress the Action column on a report by report basis on the C360. Use Cases: 1. Opportunities - We have related lists built off the Opportunity object. CSMs don't have permission to edit Opportunities, so when they click on that pencil icon they get a permissions error. Which results in service tickets for people who think it's a mistake. 2. Contacts - Somewhat related to [url=https://community.gainsight.com/conversations/c360-sections-need-ability-to-pull-reports-onto-related-list-from-different-sources-5bc73e04e4b04588aaf858ea]this[/url]. We use Salesforce Related Contacts functionality. In order to combine Contacts and Related Contacts onto a single C360 section we created a Data Space, with the foundational object of Account Contact Relationship (Related Contacts). Reports added to this section ALL have Actions tied to the Account Contact Relationship object - even for DIR

Often I'm just looking to work on my stuff, but when I get to a list of reports or rules, it's everybody's stuff. I can filter to mine, but it would be nice if I could bookmark in my browser directly to reports I made or rules I made, or any other filter combination!
Currency field on SFDC populated on GS with subsidiary currencyResponse from Customer
On behalf of customer: Can we have a currency field on SFDC which displays value say CAD as well as related converted Subsidiary say US,AUD etc. be populated on GS as well with the converted value in the subsidiary currency.
