Hi Team, Currently, our Gainsight end users receive a 'Real Time Digest' email whenever they have CTAs assigned to them. Would it be possible for that email to include who assigned the CTA to them? Right now the email notification just tells them that a new CTA was assigned to them, but does not tell them who assigned it to them
Recently (possibly with the switch to HA reporting), the report builder has started automatically adding outside parenthesis to filter logic statements. This is unnecessary, and when I need to add specific subclauses I have to go in and clean it up. Example: A AND B AND C is saved as (A AND B AND C) - the parenthesis don’t serve any purpose. I would like to add a D OR E subclause to the logic. So I put the new filters in place, and need to end up with A AND B AND C AND (D OR E). I’ve got to go clean up the automatically-added parenthesis, which never did anything anyway. It would be more convenient if those weren’t added in the first place.
Data Designer Field CountsAcknowledged
As there is a limitation to the number of fields you can add in a Data Design, there should be visual counts at in the Design and Add Field screens showing the total number of fields added from the object. Today it is very difficult to identify where you can trim down your data to make the dataset valid. Showing that there are 30 from Accounts and 25 from Activity Timeline objects would make it much better for admins to sort out where we can trim fields to get to 50. Only way we know id when we attempt to Merge the data sets together today and get the error that states ‘Max 50 fields’ — which also gives you no indication of how many fields you are using…. DB
Tagging timeline activitiesAcknowledged
Our team would like the ability to tag Timeline activities in order to sort/segment easier. For example, for meetings, they would like to tag with "on-site" or "remote". Another use case is using tags to surface very important activities such as a phone call with a high ranking executive. A tag of "Exec" would allow for easier sorting but the CSM and their Directors. I anticipate heavy use of this feature and the ability to tag for easier sorting of key activities would be lovely!
Team,When we add a new custom boolean field on the CTA task layout, it is appearing as a dropdown menu with options of None, True and False. We do not see an option to make this a checkbox. Can we implement this future in roadmap?
Our management wants an automated weekly report on client health scores and their associated comments but: I am unable to attach Unified Scorecard Fact Scorecard Mass Edit report type to a JO Email Template I am unable to create a custom object for reporting and populate it based on any filters on the Scorecard Comment because it is a RICHTEXTAREA field. I want to be able to narrow down to the last week of at risk clients and associated health score comments for the overall score. I thought to even use Scorecard Timeline Mapping object, but there are all kinds of random text style markers as if it’s an HTML template (<p> etc.) which makes the comments difficult to read. Not to mention, I can’t find any documentation on the purpose of this object, “Scorecard Timeline Mapping” and how to use it. Scorecard reporting has been historically very frustrating for us because of such limitations. If anyone knows of a workaround, please share!
Email Validator for Gainsight BlacklistAcknowledged
Our company takes advantage of Journey Orchestrator quite a bit! When a contact is added to the "blacklist" for whatever reason, our end users have no visibility if the client was added. It would be great if email validator was not limited to the Admin's access so that our reps could be able to follow up accordingly with our clients if their communications bounce.
Required CTA field on creationAcknowledged
Right now you can mark a CTA field as mandatory for when you close but I got a request from a customer to have the requirement when you create a CTA manually. The use case is to have CSMs be required to enter or select a Product from a picklist when creating or updating of a CTA or Objective.
Offer an integration with quipAcknowledged
This came as an idea from Noy at HPE ADM: The team is currently using Quip, and they would like to see Quip integrated into Gainsight. Quip is a collaboration tool to allow teams to collaborate on documents, drive next steps, etc. Will be interesting to look at what Quip offers vs. vision for Timeline vs. SFDC Chatter
Good Morning- We've received some feedback from our CS team that manually creating a CTA is too click heavy. Our CSMs have requested that they have a list of all playbooks available when manually creating a CTA and have the CTA type (Risk, Expansion, Lifecycle, Activity) pre-determined by the admin team and pre-programmed to populate. Having to figure out what type of CTA you want to create to see the playbook you want to use is confusing and driving down our adoption of Gainsight. Need for CTA Permission SetsAcknowledged
Right now there is no way to add permissions to CTAs. Without the ability to lock down the permission to delete a CTA, setting any sort of performance metric based on CTA success rate requires quite a bit of auditing because CTAs can be deleted to artificially inflate win rate.
Use case: For my Load to People rule, I need to map a multi-select field from SFDC (Contact: Role Type) to a multi-select dropdown I created for the corresponding field on the Company Person object. How can I do this without using a case expression transformation to account for each possible variation?
We have a use case where our CSMs share Success Plans with internal users that may/may not have Viewer permissions. Our CSMs want to be able to have the Timeline tab within the Objective CTA visible to internal users. Reasoning for this request is for the CSMs to be able to share timeline updates on objectives with other internal users. Currently, internal users would only be able to see the overall CTA details with no visibility on updates tracked in timeline.
Instead of pulling the entire Playbook or Template it would be great to have the ability to chose which one should be added to the success plan.. Even better would be if I could drag and drop with an unser friendly interface. Lets say I have a success plan open on the left, on the right I have a list of potential onboarding tasks that are recommended. Because my engagement is very bespoke or some of the tasks have been previously completed, I just want to drag and drop the relevant ones into my success plan. I think success plans need to be more flexible in general. Thanks
Monitor status of ZenDesk connectorAcknowledged
Due to an issue we have observed with our feed of ZenDesk tickets into GainSight we asked if there was any way we could monitor or check on status for the connector from our side (admins / non GS employee) and apparently there is no such thing available. It would be useful for admins to be able to check on status of the connector as well as an "activity log" to see what has been done by the connector and identify issues early on rather than end users uncovering the issue and reporting it back to us.
