Ability to filter on Timeline Activity Notes in Report Builder/Rules Engine (for exporting)Acknowledged

Really frustrating to have to export all of our Timeline activities to do a proper keyword search and share activities externally. Alternatively, please add the option to export Timeline Activities that result from the Global Timeline filter views. Yes, if a user has full access to Gainsight, they can conduct keyword searches. However, say I want to prepare a report for our marketing team with all mentions of a certain keyword or product, then I am out of luck. I have to keep incrementally reducing the number of records that appear. Well I try to filter to Activity Date = Current Year while looking at all timeline activity types. The report is unable to render. I try to remove that filter and just export everything as a CSV, well apparently there is a file size limit for the CSV that is emailed. My only option, export to an S3 bucket by creating a new rule, download the file, then search for the word in Excel and then clean up the sheet to include only rows where that keyword is mentio

Can we have rule formula to support Minimum, Maximum and Mean value of various fields on a row of record?Acknowledged

We had a use case to understand what is the least metrics out of 10 different measures fields on a row of record and we couldn’t find a respective formula on rules under Number or Statistics ? Instead we developed alternative workaround like replacing every field value to multiples of 10s 100’s 1000’s and then summed up to say under which color category do they fall part (mapping the least to RED). If there was a Minimum or Maximum or Mean kind of formulas would have made it ease for these request.

Ability to decrypt encrypted files loaded to S3Acknowledged

For customers who are required to encrypt their data at rest in S3, they can use PGP encryption and load the files via an S3 ingest rule or via a Rule with encryption enabled.    If there are an errors in loading the file, it is difficult to troubleshoot the CSV file for import because it is encrypted. As a work around, admins need to export an encrypted file and non-encrypted file for testing from their source system. This creates a lot of additional work.  It would be better if there was an easier way to decrypt a file. To decrypt the file, an admin would need to have the Private Key for decryption or be able to load the encrypted file through the Rules Engine and see the results. This could work ok if the Rules Engine provides all error logs. But if the file is not loading due to an error, its not possible. The best solution would be to get access to the private key somehow.

Ability to merge contacts within one account?Acknowledged

I’m using the NXT version of CS and am looking to merge two contacts listed under one account.  Occasionally our clients will update their email addresses, so we’ll have two separate contacts (one current and one that’s outdated) that represent the same person. We don’t want to just delete the old one and lose all of the activities they were part of. Ex. customer@abc.com changed their email address to customer@xyz.com, want merge the two so that @xyz.com will be associated with all historical activities @abc.com was part of, and then be able to delete @abc.com Is there a way to accomplish this in NXT?

Dashboard Alias - Rename Dashboard WidgetsAcknowledged

I wish it were possible to rename dashboard reports to something besides the report name. I use very descriptive report names so I may distinguish them from one another, e.g.: “Renewals by Count and MRR $ CY and NY”. This coding doesn’t necessarily resonate on my executive dashboard :) Any consideration for being able to alias a dashboard widget to something cleaner than report name?

CTA Task based on Task Close DateAcknowledged

Hello - We have playbooks with tasks that are based upon a predecessor Task Close Date. The challenge we’re having is that those tasks show NA until the predecessor is closed. I know I can change it to Task Due Date and see the dates, but if a predecessor closes late or early then the successor task won’t change. Is there any other way to do this to resolve the issue of the NA dates?Thanks!

How to make SFDC Case Number Clickable Link in Transactional Flattened Survey ReportAcknowledged

I have seen older similar requests and questions on the forum that don’t quite answer my question. I have also (unless my mind fails me here, not out of the realm of possibility) actually seen this done before but I can’t think of how. Here are the details: I have a Transactional Survey and program triggering on a case closure. The cases are SFDC objects My context id can be either Case Number or Case ID (I have tried both) In reports, I want the report viewer to be able to click on the Case Number and be taken to the SFDC case, similar to how the Account Name is a link taking you to the appropriate account page I have currently been reporting on the Flattened Survey object (MDA) This is in a production not sandbox environmentCurrently, the case number only shows up as a string. I don’t know if when I saw this implemented before that the SFDC case object was imported into a custom MDA case object. However, I’m wondering if there is a solution out there not involving doing that, but I’m

Is there any work around that allows (Rich text area) in filter field in reporting.Acknowledged

I’m looking for a way to report on just NPS responses that have comments attached to them. The filter I’d like to be able to use is ‘Comment != NULL’ but Rich Text Area fields are not eligible to be used in filters on Reports or Rules. Is there a workaround to this somehow? I

Flag/Star Important Timeline ActivitiesAcknowledged

make specific timeline activities stand outAcknowledged

It would be great to be able to make specific Timeline entries stand out or pinned to the top. Many times there is an entry with notes about the customer such as Important info about key players or information that an executive might need to know before they meet with someone. Another idea would be to color code different type of entries so they can be easily identified.

Ability to have CTA Due Date exceptions for black-out dates (i.e. holidays) much like "skip all weekends"Acknowledged

When assigning CTA Due Dates via Rules Engine, we currently have the option to “Skip Weekend if Due on a Weekend”, or “Skip All Weekends”.  My end users have asked to have an Exception Calendar that could also be skipped for Holidays, or shut-down periods, etc.

Choose folder when saving reportAcknowledged

When saving a report for the first time (or using the save as button), you should be able to choose which folder it is being saved to rather than having to save it then back out and move it to a folder.

we have a few use cases where having the ability to write to Gainsight timeline in bulk would be highly useful   Examples: If a CSM leaves PatientPop without notice, we would like to bulk upload an account transition note into timeline for all of their accounts at once rather than one by one.  If a CSM gives their notice, we'd like to bulk upload their account transition notes into timeline using a spreadsheet rather then have them tediously click through each account individually.  When we receive a survey response from a customer to our various CSAT, NPS and product surveys, we'd like to automatically record the score/verbatim feedback into timeline.

Option to adjust scale on daily usage reports (when done as a line graph)Acknowledged

I've noticed that when you create a daily usage report in the line graph format, that because of the way that it's scaled, a very small change can appear very dramatic.  As a result, a customers usage can appear to be in trouble when it's not.  I would suggest that we are enabled to set the scale of our reports so it shows the data and scales more accurately.

Ability to move/merge Success Plan infomration Objectives sectionAcknowledged

Use case is there is information in the Plan info section of the Success Plan and would like a way to merge or sync with the Objectives. This would save us time of copying and pasting into objectives section.  Normally it is just a portion of the Plan information we want to copy over and not the entire section, but it would be nice to have a cloning or copy to objective option.

Distinct Objective LayoutsAcknowledged

We are creating different types of Success Plans (Success Plans, Onboarding Plans, etc.) with unique objectives. We need the ability to change the Objective layouts based on the Plan Type. We need to have different fields and information for the different use cases and plans. Currently, if you update the layout for the Objective Type CTA, it changes the layout for all Success Plan Objectives. There are 2 possible solutions: 1. Allow other CTA Types to be associated with Success Plans 2. Make Objectives based on the Success Plan type (Objective - Accout Plan or Objective - Onboarding Plan)

Rearranging Tasks in ObjectivesAcknowledged

Got a question from one of my CSMs today around how you could rearrange the tasks under an objective if you had updated the due dates for the tasks.  It doesn’t look like that’s currently something that’s possible, but could see the utility of being able to do so.

Ability to View Timeline in Success Plan Objectives for Viewer UsersAcknowledged

We have a use case where our CSMs share Success Plans with internal users that may/may not have Viewer permissions. Our CSMs want to be able to have the Timeline tab within the Objective CTA visible to internal users. Reasoning for this request is for the CSMs to be able to share timeline updates on objectives with other internal users. Currently, internal users would only be able to see the overall CTA details with no visibility on updates tracked in timeline.

Dynamic Program Sender tokenAcknowledged

I have a customer that has a use case to need a dynamic field / option fro the “sender address”.They have a number of accounts that don’t have data for the field they are using as the sender and they would like to use one program and have that field change to a default value to still send. I think this would be huge and a major asset to JO.

drag and drop specific tasks from playbooks and templatesAcknowledged

Instead of pulling the entire Playbook or Template it would be great to have the ability to chose which one should be added to the success plan..   Even better would be if I could drag and drop with an unser friendly interface. Lets say I have a success plan open on the left, on the right I have a list of potential onboarding tasks that are recommended. Because my engagement is very bespoke or some of the tasks have been previously completed, I just want to drag and drop the relevant ones into my success plan.   I think success plans need to be more flexible in general.   Thanks

Today as I was sending a client a Success Plan, I realized it would be great to have this email logged in Timeline especially since you do not receive a copy of what you send in the email to the client.
