Show Event-Scheduled Rules in Timeline QueueAcknowledged
Currently, when a Rule or Rule Chain is triggered by an Event, the Rule or Rule Chain is added to the queue in the back end as expected, BUT: It does not appear in the Rule Timeline If you click Execution History on the applicable Rule(s), it does not show a line indicating the status as “Queued”Which drives me through a loop of trying to figure out whether the Event correctly fired! Which it did; I just have no indication unless I go to the individual Event’s Execution History. And I have no way of seeing where in the Rule Queue it is.
Data Designer Scheduler EnhancementAcknowledged
This one is a little tricky to verbally explain so I’ve recorded a video.The gist is that:Once you schedule it, the user should remain on the Data Design, as opposed to moving to the list view. It should not require a re-run which starts automatically; rather, it should provide a prompt with the option to re-run. Thanks!
Posting on behalf of a customer. To complete the SAML experience for an NXT org it is desired to take advantage of the Sign Out URL below: Ideally once the Sign Out URL is populated and a user signs out of NXT, user should be redirected to that Sign Out Url (Most common target landing page would be the user’s SAML enabled apps landing page). Currently on log out, although the Sign Out URL is populated, user would get redirected to the NXT login page instead. This post to to help get support/honoring of the Sign Out URL.
Processing Queue ManagementAcknowledged
We often find our processes are queued for several hours but we do not have a way to view all items running and/or queued to manage the processes. When this happens, we need to contact Gainsight Support for them to advise what process is causing the delay, which is not efficient for Support or Admins. Exposing a Processing Queue will help us quickly see the order of the processing/queued items, allow us to update the order of queued processes based on priority, and identify problematic processes requiring attention for efficiencies. There is an existing Idea around a Processing Queue Management feature but it is marked as Implemented because the ability to abort a rule was implemented several years ago. I wanted to create a new idea to track other ways a Processing Queue would be helpful to Admins.
Hi,I am trying to use two programs to send reports to different set of internal people. Can I use one report and change the columns displayed in the email sent to the recipients?First Program is for Executives - They have a report showing columns - ABCDE Second Program is for CSMs - They should receive a report showing columns - ABCDGI tried to move the columns when configuring the report in the program builder - email setup. But that does not change the layout of the columns shown in the report Let me know if you need additional information regarding the same @gunjanm

Removing Auto "0" Response on Inline SurveyAcknowledged
When sending an inline NPS survey, a “0” was marked as the response even though the user never answered the survey question. Is there a way to remove the score or prevent the server from automatically selecting “0” as response? Or is there a way to check if the response is from the user or was automatically done?
Hi Team, Posting this request on behalf of a customer. We have a use case of acquisition or a case where bulk of the tasks in SFDC are older than 120days and there is no way to sync them back to GS timeline using SFDC to timeline integration since the max allowed days to sync past data is 120days. Since allowing entire task data sync to timeline may cause timeout issues with SOQL, it would be great if we can have a customizable date filters to bring in X months / years data into Gainsight recursively. Ability to summarize a timeline activity notesAcknowledged
I think it would be helpful to quickly summarize our timeline notes to a few distinct points. When taking notes on a call, we may have the tendency to write everything that is discussed.However, once the call is complete, quickly distinguishing what the highlights of the call are would be helpful.In my mind, I see this looking like this. I can highlight certain text threads, and click a button to mark it as a highlight. Then as I’m glancing through a long list of timeline activities, I can quickly see the high level summary, and expand the activity to see more detail.Additionally, if I could highlight text threads and click a button to assign a task to it. This would eliminate the need for me to take a note, and then repeat the process while creating a task. Simply highlighting, and marking it as a task would save key strokes.
Can we support inline images in Timeline, if not can we make them as attachments when dragged into them?Acknowledged
Hello Team, We know that the inline images are not supported in Timeline but when we drag any image into Activity, it is saving as inline image by which the text we type is getting delayed. So is it possible to support inline images.If not, can we make them as attachments instead of inline images. Regards,Srikanth
Hi Team, Posting this request on behalf of customer.In Timeline V2 we have given feasibility to create new timeline views based on limited set of fields on timeline object.However customer has a use case where they wanted to see the data of timeline activities generated through CTAs source.This couldn’t be achieved since the field “source” present on timeline object isn’t exposed while creating new views. It is a very useful enhancement to give the customer a free hand to filter out all the source based activities. Regards,Jagadeesh

Whenever we add a related list on custom objects where look up to company ID is present, creation of new record from Related list is auto populating however this field is editable.https://share.getcloudapp.com/Z4uKdoEbIt would be great if we can give the feasibility to make this field as un-editable so that end users wouldn’t end up associating the record to incorrect company. Add ability to choose and show certain field when you hover over the attendee list (especially external attendees) - which typically are from company person.For example: When you are tracking/review a timeline entry and want to know the role/title/latest NPS/timestamp of last product engagement - if we had the ability to hover over and choose such fields it will be very handy and helpful.
Sorting columns when fetching fields in rulesAcknowledged
When fetching fields in a rule task, the fields, there is no way to manually sort the fields once added to the dataset fetch task. It would be nice to be able to manually sort the fields once they have all been added to the fetch task.The inability to sort the fields causes issues when we need to later add fields to an S3 export, as we often need to conform our field sorting to other internal SQL scripts. As is, we have to either (i) re-add the fields in the new, correct order, or (ii) create a transform task to reorder the fields. Being able to manually sort (like we can in report builder), would be a welcome addition.
[SFDC Task/Event to Timeline] Delete Created Timeline Entry If Supporting SFDC Event/Task Record is Removed.Acknowledged
Posting on behalf of a customer. It is found for the Timeline Integration that syncs from Task/Event into Activity Timeline, if the supporting SFDC Event/Task is removed from SFDC the dependent Timeline entry isn’t removed. It be a good idea to have our sync job give the option to remove invalid synced Timeline entries to ensure accurate information is present, so users aren’t misled by invalid Timeline entries. “External” user licenses are created when there is a success snapshot or layout or dashboard share is triggered. However there is no availability of knowing what is shared to external users other than snapshot. Can we have this requirement tracked in MDA using looked up user data sharing MDA etc.Thanks!
Data Designer - Default values to 0Acknowledged
Issue: I have a Massive DD, like 40 different tasks, built out and when it runs I am getting zeros and blanks/nulls in the same columns. The blanks are occurring because there is no data in a particular column when aggregating in a transformation. Idea: Give the ability when aggregating in DD and Rules to give the ability to have a default value if there is no data in that column to aggregate. My current work around: I can get around this by adding formula or case statements in an additional transformation. However, I am only able to add 10 per a transformation forcing me to add x number of tasks to get an end result. Additionally this creates the need for additional tasks that are unwanted/unneeded.
I have created a data designer dataset on Success Plans with 3 date fields: Plan Last Modified Date, Associated CTA last Modified Date, and Timeline Last Activity Date. I need to compare between the 3 fields to find the MAX date of the three columns. The idea is that this is the true “last modification” date of the plan, as we consider modifying a CTA or Timeline to also be working a plan. Has anyone had success comparing dates between columns? I have the max date within the column itself figured, now need to compare between the 3
Add dynamic filters for specific quartersAcknowledged
We have a lot of options for quarterly filters, but one thing we’re missing is having something like “Current Q1,” “Current Q2”, etc. A customer use case I’m dealing with right now includes the following scenario: The customer needs to know what their renewal ARR target is for each quarter of their fiscal year and therefore wants four widgets at the top of a dashboard showing that data. However, because our dynamic filters are only “previous quarter,” “current quarter,” “next quarter,” etc., they are stuck with having to manually put in “Jan 1 - March 31, 2021,” “April 1 - June 30, 2021,” etc. Which means they’ll have to manually update all those filters every time a new year comes along.
It would be nice if we had the ability to link timeline activities with each other in a parent-child relationship. Sometimes timeline entries will relate to a broader discussion we are having with a customer or across customers. In this case- we would ideally like to be able to define that linkage.
I ended up with a redundant field in my GS Opportunity object and tried to delete it and got ye ol’ “cannot delete due to dependencies” message.Going through the Dependencies list under Data Management, I removed all of them. Or so I thought.Evidently, the widgets are not included in dependency lists, so if you use your field on one widget on one view you’ll never be able to delete your field. Considering anyone can make a view, this is especially problematic as you will have no idea where the field is being used, let alone how you would be able to find it and delete it. Please include the widget and view name it is in as a dependency, once for each widget and view combination for Renewal Center. This will ensure fields can be deleted and dependencies tracked.
Customised Due date in CTA creationAcknowledged
While creating a CTA via a rule or manually we can either hardcore a Duedate or make it filled with the run date + N days. However if we have an ability to choose any date field from Company object like renewal date/Contract end date to be filled in the due date section of the Cockpit it would be super helpfulIssue: Right now we can only assign a hard core number of days to the duedate in the CTA layoutIdea: Ability to customise the duedate with any date field value available in the Company object.Example: While creating renewal CTAs an ability to customise the due date with the upcoming renewal date.
Team,When we add a new custom boolean field on the CTA task layout, it is appearing as a dropdown menu with options of None, True and False. We do not see an option to make this a checkbox. Can we implement this future in roadmap?
