Group by quarters honors the fiscal quarters only on SFDC objects and not MDA objects. This is limiting our capability to add reports (from both SFDC and MDA objects) in a dashboard with filters to drill down on fiscal quarters. Any update on adding fiscal quarter capability in reporting? I wonder how this works in Gainsight NXT?
Report Builder - Column Line graphImplemented
Do we have the ability to utilize the column line chart off a single data source, similar to the google doc graph below?
Global Dashboard FiltersImplemented
Have some feedback on the improvements to Global Dashboard filters. 1. It's cumbersome to create filters. If you have a dashboard with a lot of reports, you have to click and select each one to include it in the filter. Would be great to have a Select All option instead. 2. I've gotten myself super-confused with the objects and fields section, so maybe that could be a little more intuitive. Or maybe it's just me. :) 3. I also think it's cumbersome to select the field on each report on the next page again if you have a lot of reports in the dashboard. Not sure how to make that one more user-friendly. 4. I've also run into problems with needing to remove a report from the dashboard and having to go and remove it from the filter selection first. Is there an easy way? Maybe it gets automatically removed from the filters when you select to remove it from the dashboard?
Currently, you cannot delete a report from a dashboard if it associated with any global filters which requires you to manually remove the report from the filter before you can delete. This can be quite cumbersome and time-consuming if the dashboard has multiple global filters. It would be a big time saver if admins could either exclude filters in bulk or simply delete a report without having to update every single filter manually.
Change colors in heat map reportImplemented
Hi Team, It would be great, if we can change the colours in the heat map report. One of my customer has report where the heat map colors are inverted for the purpose of report, where high numbers are poor than low numbers. User need high numbers to be red and low to be green. Here's the sample screenshot of what report shows currently : https://cl.ly/175cd0ff12be Can we change the colors as larger counts to be in red (not green), and the smaller counts to be in green (not red) ? Also, custom colors feature works only with pie and bar charts , but not with Heat map chart report. Best, Hardik
Apologies if this has been discussed before but I'm trying to expand the overall use case for Success plans to include internal-only 'Account Development' objectives & milestones. The idea is to leverage the Success planning functionality to manage the account development process in parallel to customer-facing success planning. These would be configured in the same way that objectives/tasks are currently created but they wouldn't appear on plan exports (customer facing PPT for example). Here's a simple use case: - User creates an internal-only, account development objective (develop an opportunity to sell in another product for example) - A check-box or toggle cold be used to mark the objective & all child elements as 'Internal-Only' - Exporting the completed plan wold omit these slides - Advanced - Allow the user to select whether to include or exclude 'internal-only' slides in the export dialog. Thanks
Expand or Format fields on Success Plan InfoImplemented
We are in the process of rolling out Success Plans internally, and there is a LOT of information that up to now CSMs have been storing externally on a powerpoint document or in Evernote that we are trying to give them space for within their success plans. I've successfully added the fields they've asked for and made them long text fields, but there does not appear to be a way today to specify the formatting or the way these display. When more than one line worth of text is entered, it doesn't currently wrap smartly and all additional whitespace appears to be ignored, making these context fields much less usable than they could be. Even if I make these rich text field types in Salesforce, the result on the 360 is the same. They don't even give the standard bottom-right-corner expand that Chrome adds to all text area boxes in standard forms. &n
Hi team, One of the customer reported a scenario for success plans. While using and creating success plans we have encountered an issue with changing the plans status and saving the data entered into the plan. When creating a plans if the status is changed from one status to the another before saving any changes it will then erase anything that was entered. This is a common occurrence when a CSM is filling out a new plan and it is in draft status. If we change the status over to active before clicking on the check mark to save the plan it will erase everything they have entered. This seems to be expected behaviour from our end. But, The reason for changing it to active before saving is that is a more natural process. When a CSM is going in and making their updates and or changes to a dashboard it is more of a natural process to make all changes and then click on save. It is not a normal process flow to have to click save and then change the status.
Success Plan: Expandable Text BoxesImplemented
Success Plans - On the Plan Info page when building Success Plans can the text boxes for Description and Company Highlights be more easily navigated. Example a draggable window to expand and see content. Current scroll feature is difficult to navigate.
The business would like visibility into the the overall status of a plan. The objective statuses give us a good picture of progress against milestones but would like to roll up statuses like "On Hold" or "Closed Risk" to an overarching plan status. For example, when giving a project status you can give R/Y/G for specific milestones and for the overall plan itself.
Contact lookup on Success PlanImplemented
I had a use case from a customer regarding adding the CTA contact lookup field to success plan summary page to add attendees that joined a meeting. The closest that I could advise was to add a contact lookup to the CTA Group object however this will only allow one contact per field so it isn't very scaleable. It would be nice if there was a easier way to do this for multiple contacts rather than creating this lookup manually.
Timeline Posts for Entire Success PlanImplemented
We are leveraging Success Plans to track Objectives for Priority 1 accounts in our portfolios. We've asked team members to provide a Timeline update each week for progress and plan for the following week. What I'm running into is you can only post Timeline updates for each Objective CTA and not the entire Success Plan. It would be great to have the option to post an update for the entire Success Plan vs one Objective since I might have worked on multiple Objectives that week.
Success Plans List ViewImplemented
Instead of just the current drop-down list that shows all success plans suggestion is to have a more robust UI to view multiple success plans (and applicable information in that success plan - e.g. status) in a single view. Please allow for the editability of column width for objectives in success plans. Text is continually cut off when there are more than 11 characters in the column field which makes it difficult for CSMs to read key fields quickly within large success plans.
In a Gantt Chart via Success Plans, if you change the start date of the CTA, the start date does not cascades down to the associated tasks. Users will manually need to change that start date as well. Lack of this is causing conflicts like where a CTA start date can be changed to the present, but the tasks can be started in the past.
We would love the ability to customize and add success plan statuses. Right now the only options are Active, Draft, and Closed. Some of the success plans we utilize are for onboarding new clients on to our software. Clients receive a specific success plan depending on the package they've purchased. There are times when clients decide to upgrade their package which requires a NEW success plan because there are additional objectives that need to be completed. In these cases, we don't want to simply change the status of the old success plan to "Closed" because it marks all the objectives and tasks as complete... which skews our data and information because that success plan was never fully completed. We'd love to be able to add different statuses to show the true status of our success plans. In this case, it would be beneficial to change it to "Incomplete" or something similar to that. It would also be beneficial to customize statuses so we can choose whether a status closes all obje
I think I speak for quite a few people when I say I'm very excited about the ability to edit the Gantt chart start and end dates now! However, the issue still remains that if you apply a template to a success plan, the tasks are all going to look like they start on the same day, since it's based off the CTA Created Date field. Of course, now we can at least manually edit those, but that can turn into quite the tedious task especially if you have a success plan with dozens of objectives and/or tasks. So my request is to have the ability to automatically set the start dates, which would be reflected in the Gantt Chart view. In theory, this would function exactly how the End Dates do, where you can say I want this End Date to show up as +50 days from the assigned date.
Hi Team, (This is with regards to NXT edition org) The use-case here is that I want to autopopulate one field based on the selection of other field in a success plan. I thought of using it using Dropdown Dependency-https://support.gainsight.com/Gainsight_NXT/02Data_Management/02Managing_Data_In_Gainsight/03Dropdown_List_and_Multi_Select_Dropdown_List#Create_a_Dropdown_list_for_Dependent.0ACategories , but it seems to be not working. I see that it is planned for SFDC edition -https://community.gainsight.com/cs-ideas-21/field-dependencies-not-working-on-gainsight-37714 , so when can we expect it for NXT?
Success Plan Status ~ VariantsImplemented
I have a customer that would like to be able to add custom status's to the Success Plan Status Field. The current options are Active, Draft, & Closed. The use case for this specific customer would be to tag as "future project" or something similar to that so they can tag these success plans with a more specific status. I do agree with them that this would be very beneficial for a strategic team to be able to use.
In the Report Builder, General Settings there is a toggle switch for “Enable lazy loading of report widgets.” There is also a toggle switch under Dashboard Builder General Settings: The only reference I find to the lazy loading is in the Reports and Dashboards FAQ but it only directs the reader to the Report Builder toggle switch. I don’t see any mention of the toggle switch in Dashboard Builder documentation.
Auto-Scale Table Report ColumnsImplemented
When adding columns to a table report, the column widths adjust to the same width regardless of the header length. Sometimes this means that short column headers have larger than necessary widths and longer header names get cutoff by the pre-determined width. It would be great if either:Columns auto-scale / auto-adjust to fit different header lengths; or Allow admins to manually adjust column widths that are sticky.Currently users can adjust column widths, but they are not sticky for future use.
