Success snapshot quick downloadNo Status
Hi Team,Is there an ask for downloading success snapshot right to the success plans records that appear underneath “my success plans” or “all success plans” views. Currently we download success plan snapshot by export function that sends email to the person who submitted. Wanted to simplify the download function by introducing direct download (not as email) from the actual success plans.Open for other inputs and thoughts.Thanks!
Hi Team,Currently when we export a success snapshot with a google slide, we get the below email saying “Here is your success snapshot for xyz company” , but there is no actual attachment added to the email. The google slide exported is shared to out google drive and needs to be accessed from there. For, PDF files exported as snapshot we have the option “Download here” in the email that lets us download the success snapshot for the email itself It would be nice to improve the email message when exporting google slides that they will be found drive of the associated account or include the drive link in the email as the current message seems a little confusing for the customers
In email template configuration, there should be an OOTB way to configure the preheader (AKA “Johnson box”) section of an email. Gainsight strips this ability if you add it yourself via HTML, so we have no way to configure a preheader.
Horizon Connectors Activity LogNo Status
The Update Activities page on Horizon Connectors combines with the Run (execution) log and together hits the 100-log limit on the UI. Gainsight Support has confirmed that Gainsight will store only the last 100 execution (Job runs and Update activities) in the UI and out of that the update activities will be displayed in this space. If we have a few different Connector jobs running hourly, this leaves us with maybe 2-3 days of logs. Then we need to go to Support to find out what happened for anything older.
Hi Team, Customer has reached out to support for having the ability to configure the form that appears while adding a new record on a report that is added as a related list on C360. As of now, we do not have control on rearranging the columns that appear when we click on Add record. Please share your views on the feasibility of this request. Thanks!
Right now, I can include the name of the Success Plan but there is no easy way to get to the source Success Plan without navigating to the success plan and opening it up. Ideally, the name would hyperlink in both the objective CTA itself and the Cockpit when included.
Detailed Modification LogsNo Status
We need these everywhere. Rules Engine, JO, Connectors, Playbooks, 360 layouts, everything. There is clearly a modification log somewhere behind the scenes, but we do not have access to it in the UI. It is extremely frustrating that I learn from tribal knowledge that “that thing I need should be available by asking Support” - and this takes days, not seconds as it should be readily available to me at any time. I understand 30-day limits and things like that such as what is applied on Rules Engine execution history. However, as teams grow and things happen, we need to be able to track back to specific changes far more easily.
Hi Team, In JO Programs when we click on delete option against the exclusion list it is deleted directly with out any alert/notification. So it would be great and really helpful if team can implement an alert/notification which notifies the user that the action will delete the exclusion list from the JO program.This will help as an extra security layer if the file is being deleted.
Automatically apply global filters for reports added to dashboard post initial dashboard buildNo Status
Hey GS Product team,Would love for Gainsight to consider a usability enhancement to automatically apply all global filters to reports that are added to a dashboard.When we put together the original design / reports to be included in a dashboard, we usually add the global filters after, which makes them apply to all the reports added.However, for any additions - aka reports added to the dashboard after the original build, one would have to remember to go back to each individual global filter and manually add all of them in for each and every global filter. This is not only annoying and time consuming, but also one would have to actually remember to do it.What I am proposing instead is to have the ability to automagically apply the global filters for the newly added reports to a dashboard OR offer the admin the option to do so via pop-up show up that asks them if they want to apply the global filter to the newly added report.Thank you for your consideration!
Hi Team, Issue: Inline filter on a multi pick-list field is not working as expected.Scenario: (Example to understand the scenario)Below are the pick-list values that are present in salesforce. A B C D A,B,C - Inactive C,D - Inactive When we are providing the value A in search (Inline filter) the pick list value A,B,C is present in the data but the same is not available in the dropdown. I have reached out to engineering team regarding this behaviour and got confirmation this is an expected behaviour for now and the functionality will be improved as part of an enhancement , hence logging this community post.
This morning I’ve been reviewing the Email Assist 2.0 update and realized that the Email Stats section of a sent email assist task only updates with a browser refresh. It would be really handy if you could add a “Refresh” button beside the View Email button so that users can refresh the stats on-demand without having to fully refresh their browser.
Similar to another Idea I posted but not quite the same - Currently, when a Rule Chain is in queue, we cannot see that it is so until one of the Rules in it begins to process in the queue. This makes it very difficult for understanding expected processing times and delays when trying to optimize the overall schedule.Furthermore, we cannot abort the Rule Chain until one of the rules begins to run - which we don’t have visibility on, so we are essentially left monitoring the Rule Timeline until it appears. Beyond that, since the Rule Activity Timeline does not auto-refresh, we cannot just leave the page open on a monitor; we have to be constantly watching and refreshing it. When the Great Rules Engine Outage of May 2022 happened a few weeks ago, neither we nor GS Support realized our delay went on for several days because Rule Chains were stuck in an invisible queue!
Today I had the first occasion to load data to an MDA via CSV upload since Data Management’s Horizon-ification update. It has not been pleasant. I don’t mean to come in too hot here but I did want to share my experience and some (hopefully constructive) suggestions/critique. Below are some of the issues I had and accompanying suggestions. 1.) When creating the schema for a new MDA via CSV upload, all fields defaulted to Boolean datatypes. This may have been an oversight on my part, but I don’t recall any obvious option to configure that during the upload.If a default datatype needs to be selected as a starting point, can I suggest that it at least be String? Boolean feels like it will be incorrect more often than it happens to be correct - at least String has a fighting chance. 2.) When loading actual data, the Data Type Attribute column is entirely blank… 3.) After verifying fields mappings and hitting Upload CSV, nothing much happens. In a survey with a matrix question, you can only add a display logic to the main question. We also would like to have the ability to control the display of the sub-questions. Is there a plan to apply a display logic to sub-questions using the different display types? An enhancement of this type would provide great value in survey design.
I have had multiple clients ask for more customizable colors within every part of Gainsight. The current limited selection of colors within scorecards, CTA types/values, and reporting limits the company’s ability to display data effectively to its users, CSMs, and clients. The addition of universal color picker would allow for bigger companies to segment their business units better and display information more effectively to its users. It would also allow for better internal communication of business practices by showing users more distinct differences in the data. Scorecards: be able to customize the Scorecard color scheme and individual score colors The color scales only allows for Red/Yellow/Green of varying shades. Previous client asked for Black to display customers that have churned. Red/Yellow/Green cannot convey this accurately. It’s great that the new dashboards allow the widgets to be maximised to take over the screen, but please can this be extended to the pop-out reports when clicking on a widget, as the resulting table can often be too small to be useful (on a laptop screen particularly). Also being able to freeze the first column on these too.
When auditing our users in User Management, it would be really nice to be able to filter our user list and then quickly update license types or other important fields right from the list view instead of having to click into and edit each individual record.
I love that we can see our user’s login history in User Management but it is buried under a few clicks. It would be great if we could at least see a field for the ‘last login date’ visible in the list view and filterable so we can easily target/clean up users who have not logged in recently.
Smartsheet enables CSM’s to email their customers directly with shared project dashboards/files/etc. When these emails are sent on behalf of the CSM’s Gmail account, quotation marks are surrounding the recipient’s email address. This prevents the Chrome plugin from recognizing the recipient on the Company Person object and leaves email timeline entries in the draft status. Would be a nice addition to have the feature be able to recognize these quotations and still be able to log these entries to the timeline!
Today, is only possible to create real-time rules on Company, Relationship and Relationship type. This is a huge pain for us not to be able to have real time available on Person and Company Person object.It would increase our efficiency and the accuracy of data, as it will tackle synchronisation issues we encounter with external tools.
