I have a few customers lately who have similar requirement to this: As a Gainsight User, i would like the ability to kick off a rule chain on successful completion of a Connector Sync Job. I have a particular customer who is using mixpanel and wants to kick off an outreach to the customer if a particular event is triggered in their platform. As it stands, the only way i can do something similar is to run a cron expression in rule scheduling to run the job on an hourly basis, which is not optimal
It’s great that the new dashboards allow the widgets to be maximised to take over the screen, but please can this be extended to the pop-out reports when clicking on a widget, as the resulting table can often be too small to be useful (on a laptop screen particularly). Also being able to freeze the first column on these too.
The Success Criteria section of the Success Plan Objective CTA is a key field utilized by our CSMs. However, trying to add, edit, and view this text in the UI is cumbersome for the CSMs. They end up typing up what they need and copying and pasting into the field. And, there is no ability to apply formatting. They have to export and adjust to make sure it is presentable to the customer. The view is exactly the same when sharing the success plan. Is there a way to the view for the text in this field of similar size/functionality Description section of the Success Plan?
Currently when you associate a contact to a CTA and have multiple tokens in the email you can’t send to a different “to” address and have it populate the tokens. I have a customer who is sending internal communication to their CSMs and want to associate a contact which then can fill out the tokens in the email. I think if we were able to have this as an option it would provide a much smoother experience and more functionality to the associated person feature.
While Navigating in Gainsight SFDC, the Administration-> Communication-> Surveys leads to Survey 1.0 where we need to click on a button for navigating to Survey 2.0. Customer has requested that the Administration-> Communication-> Surveys should directly route to Survey 2.0. Customer’s update:I understand what you are saying, but the Admin menu item is still broken. That would be the normal way most people would instinctively access the Survey tool. It is a defect in the software and should be fixed. Most Salesforce users have several application tabs already and Gainsight is but one tool Salesforce customers may use. Gainsight can be one of the application tabs, but Gainsight should not require several different application tabs in Salesforce to utilize the Gainsight tools. Please submit this issue as a defect/enhancement to Gainsight product management or engineering teams.
Timeline and Person section are two different sections but they should seamlessly flow to one anotherAcknowledged
Gainsight’s Timeline and Person section are two different sections but they should seamlessly flow to one another. If I am meeting a new contact, I should be able to add them right from the timeline instead of going to person object, adding them there, and then adding them to the timeline entry. Similarly, if I am talking to someone who just received a promotion, I should be able to change the title while I am on the timeline, instead of writing the timeline entry and then moving to the person/contact section to change their title
Ran into an issue where the Linked Object configuration did not appear to be working on a CTA I created, where I had a Link to the SFDC Opportunity object on the Opportunity CTA type. The little 1 that usually appears on the CTA Detail view wasn’t showing up.I opened a support case and was told it was because I had a Company-level configuration for the Opportunity CTA type, so the Company level config overrides the Global Config. That doesn’t make sense to me from a design perspective. If I create a Global CTA Type, then why would the Company level configuration override it?
Hi Team,Customize fiscal year settings are not being reflected in MDA reports when we filter on Fiscal Quarter instead Standard quarters are being applied. Currently, MDA has no provision of configuring/querying with custom fiscal periods. The customer(Boomi, Inc.)wants to extend these fiscal boundaries to MDA reports. Is this coming anytime soon?? Please have a look at this request.@rakesh
HI Team,The customer(F5 Networks) has come with the requirement, if any opportunity that was skipping from one quarter to another quarter (One opportunity cycle to another opportunity cycle ) need to see that information in the late renewal chat.Currently, the "late Renewal" chat calculation is for a selected period. if the renewal type opportunity closed date is greater than the opportunity due date then those opportunities will be displayed in the selection. Now this "late Renewal" chat is showing the data for the selected quator. @vivekreddy @lalit_das
Enabling Email to timeline for all users or a global setting for enabling the feature for all usersAcknowledged
Hello Team, It would be easy for the admins to enable the “Email to timeline” for all users or a global setting for enabling the feature for all users or a check box kind of field to enable this feature when creating the users in Gainsight.
With the present data types available in Gainsight we can't access the HH:MM: SS format of the data.Usecase: While bringing Time duration data into S3 bucket from an external source we are mapping it as a type String because of the format. Now the usecase is to perform aggregation on the Time duration i.e AVG Time spent.
Ability to add Reason as a picklist list view field while adding it from admin configurable viewsAcknowledged
Hi Team, Posting this on behalf of a customer. When we add “Reason” field to the list view fields by clicking on “+” (plus icon) , we see the picklist field displayed on views. This gives the feasibility to end users to customize the reason when it is required. If a admin wants to add this field under administration section, it is not possible to do so. When we add the CTA → Reason → Name the field just shows the static name stored in this path and it loses the edit ability for end users and it is difficult for an admin to configure such views to all the users. It would be great if we can add the ability for administrators to be able to add these type of fields configured under admin section. Regards,Jagadeesh
Hi Team, Posting this request on behalf of customer. In Timeline V2 we have given feasibility to create new timeline views based on limited set of fields on timeline object. However customer has a use case where they wanted to see the data of timeline activities generated through CTAs source. This couldn’t be achieved since the field “source” present on timeline object isn’t exposed while creating new views. It is a very useful enhancement to give the customer a free hand to filter out all the source based activities. Regards,Jagadeesh
Unsaved Changes in RulesAcknowledged
I've noticed that whenever you are editing a rule and open a dataset it always tells you that you have "unsaved changes" when you navigate away. This occurs whether or not you have actually changed anything. Is it possible to change this behavior to check if a change has been made rather than just displaying that message every time? It can be confusing if you are working on multiple rules or step away for a bit to know if you did in fact make a change since this message pops up so often.
Hi Team, Currently when we use the inline reports in JO and try to send a email , The columns are trimmed and we don't have an option to show complete column name or data in that column . While we add report to the program the column name is showing up fine but while sending, it is adjusting according to the template and trimming the column names and data in it. Currently we don’t have a way to adjust column size. If this can be taken up as future request it will be very helpful for the customer . Sample Screenshot.
Would it be possible to create functionality to allow for a timeline export of CTA info for success plansAcknowledged
I spoke with Anthony Margulies from Falcon.io and he presented a rather interesting use case - He wanted to see if there could be a way to create and export CTA summary information into a timeline format (Similar to this ). In looking at the type of data points in the picture these look like lifecycle CTA’s (or maybe milestones). Off hand I can’t think of a way to do this within Gainsight using current functionality. I will leave it up to Anthony to follow up here and further explain his use case, but I do think that if we could use either a rule or report query to generate a CTA summary report for use in Success Plans that could be a nice addition to Success Plan functionality
Displaying release versions in the G360Acknowledged
It would be great if I was able to see which release version my production environment is in at any given time. The area that springs to mind for this purpose is the Gainsight 360. I am a Gainsight Admin without access to the Salesforce Setup page, so this information is currently unavailable to me without contacting one of our sfdc admins.
Hello Team,We could see "NPS" field gets populated by default on the Company object and uses the True NPS and not the NPS.Can we give an ability to change NPS value type which is displayed on Company::NPS. Thanks & Regards,Srikanth
Customer has added a RTF field to sections in the C360. When you look at this we only see 5 lines of text and need to scroll down to see the rest of the text. Customer is wondering if it is possible to show everything and not had to scroll. The ideal experience is that the field expands to the size of the text, like it does in other instances like success plans and timeline comments.
Service account to authorize BQ connectorAcknowledged
Hi, Currently, it is not possible to authorize a BQ connection in Gainsight using a service account. So whenever we need to re-authorize the connection, we are asked to confirm the access to the DB with a personal Google Account. So the ability to reauthorize the connection via a service account would be really helpful. Please share your thoughts.
