Total Usage Data time to show in Minutes/Hours rather than in Number field value (K)No Status

Hello Team,We’ve recently seen a behavior in Usage Data total time is showning in ‘K’ values, rather in Minutes/Hours. Currently it seems like a limitation. Below is the brief observation:The issue here is in GA(Google Analytics) data might in time format like minutes or seconds but when we ingest data in AE, it is coming as a number field. So that's why in charts it is being shown as Number ( like Sum (Avg Session Duration) = 10k or so).The data itself is coming from GA as a number so it's not possible for now since we don't have any capability in charts to convert the number field to a different data type for representation.like here 10k --> 10k/3600 will give hours etc. Could you please check on this request, if we could implement this in the future!

Ability to Reset Survey LinksNo Status

I recently had several participants click on the survey link for the first time and were met with a “you have already responded to this survey” page. This got me thinking:Currently if a survey is submitted by a participant they do not have access to their answers either as a read-only or editable. If a participant wants to change their responses, or respond to questions they didn’t answer before submitting there is no way to re-set this. Can we implement a way to individually and bulk “re-set” access to the survey link to participants as an admin? I imagine this would have to involve upserting new data into their record so a whole new response record isn’t recorded. I am aware that admins can edit and delete responses but that isn’t a useful workaround in this case.

{Posting on behalf of Customer}- Ability to choose to have SFDC Production details be pulled into Sandbox during Sandbox refreshUnder Consideration

Hey Team, We have come across User data being pulled from SFDC Production to SFDC Sandbox during the Sandbox Management refresh. However, the Username in SFDC production is different from the Username in SFDC Sandbox while the SFDC User ID can be the same. This causes issues in duplicates as multiple Users have the same SFDC User ID. Would it be possible we make this a choice or prevent pulling in the User data(except for the Oauth)? Kindly do let us know if there are better ways to avoid these Duplicate Users.

Rule date trigger based on first or last day of quarterAcknowledged

We have a way to do this within the query, but it adds multiple steps. It would be great to be able to use the date set in admin in to trigger an action on the quarter end or start. Just like how you can set to trigger on the first of the month, last of the month, etc IE  transform to add rule date and then be able to say  Criteria:where rule date = Start of Quarter ORwhere rule date = end of quarter

Rule Name DedupingAcknowledged

Can we implement a warning if you try and name a rule the same name as an existing rule? While I can’t think of a reason why you’d want rules to have the same name, if there is at least a warning that you can override or go back and edit your rule name that would be great. Use case - you have 10 rules all named the same thing, but they do variations of different things. How do you know which one is which?

Allow Timeline to function offlineNot Planned

Some CSMs continue to use Evernote / Onenote / Trello etc for note taking because Timeline requires an internet connection to access.. (web and mobile) To stop notes being taken outside of Gainsight, can we create a solution to allow offline note taking within the C360 page.

Setting for Color blind users.No Status

Hi Team, A customer would like to have a color blind mode for the Gainsight application and reports as they feel like the dark grey used in the Health Score report is not distinguishable from R/Y/G for a color blind user. Please share your thoughts.

Display Company when clicking through a Scorecard Timeline NotificationNo Status

This is a pain.End users that when they get a “tag” notification from within a Scorecard Measure...  they click on the Measure Name, it opens the Scorecard - but it is completely disembodied from the Company. There’s no way to tell at whose scorecard you’re looking.

Find and replace text using rules.Under Consideration

Posting on behalf of customer. Currently in rules it doesn’t appear that we have the ability to find and replace text using rules efficiently. An example is a text field with 'Test;Test'. You would find ';' and replace that with 'and'. Would be nice to have an easy ‘find and replace’ option in a transformation task or something.

Request: UI Share Button for Internal Link SharingNo Status

Hear me out: Even if you are running NXT there’s a good chance you are doing so through Salesforce. Some users may be on SF Classic, some may be on SF Lightening. If I want to share a link to a Gainsight page to another internal user (for example, a specific report, Survey Analytics Tab etc.,) the only way to do that is to either:Make sure you aren’t using SF Lightening Log back into SF and Gainsight (see step one) with Classic Copy the URLOr, explain the breadcrumbs of where you want them to go, such as administration>Surveys>Survey Name>Analytics Tab. This bad, as you may be dealing with users that have different permission levels and also levels of confidence with the platform. I would like some type of share button that generates a link to the current GS page/tab/feature I am on regardless of whether or not I am in Lightening, Classic or just NXT so I can just share that sucker with whoever needs it (internal users only) and be done in one step.

Request: Cascade Survey PermissionsNo Status

Gainsight has wonderful permission levels. Lots of granualrity. If I have a user that doesn’t have survey module access but I want to give them survey specific analyze permissions, that should automatically grant them whatever other access they need to view that page. Maybe GS has a window that comes up and shows the permission tree that will need to be enabled and asks for a confirmation?Otherwise, you need to go through all your permission sets yourself and figure out what’s stopping them from having access. Bonus points if you can inspect permissions for users (look at Confluence permission levels) to see where in the permission tree they’re being blocked from viewing a page or module.

Option to make Playbooks required for a certain types of CTAs.

In order to run their risk process in Gainsight, Usertesting is looking for an option to make playbooks necessary for manual CTAs. Many risk CTAs are created ad-hoc and right now there is no process to make them mandatory. Here are the ideas considered and rejectedCreating report for CTAs that are missing a playbook: This seems like an unnecessary overhead and one more thing to look at. Sending a JO for CTAs that are missing a playbook: his seems like an unnecessary overhead and one more thing to look to maintain. Emails are also easier to ignore.

Add Indent to SP UI for text fieldsNo Status

We have a long text field exposed on the SP UI (customer info object, not CTA group) that is editable by our users. At the moment, we can add one bullet point. As a user, I’d like to add multiple layer to the bullet point notes.

Idea: Allow Page cloning in surveysNo Status

Having a question library is great, and really speeds up adding identical questions either from different surveys or from within the survey, but what if we could clone entire pages and sections? Just like the clone question tool, this would allow you to clone a whole page at once while preserving the question order. Ideally, you would also have the option to import question logic as well. Why? If you have a main topic question, with dependant questions farther down the page it would greatly speed the process up to import the logic as well.

Idea: Page Level Survey LogicAcknowledged

Allow for whole pages to be conditionally shown based on responses to previous questions. This would save time when all questions on a page will only be displayed for a particular response. Additionally, when reordering questions with logic on a page, that logic is destroyed. This should allow you to re order questions on a page level without destryoing the overall logic. Specific use case would be if you have an NPS survey and have your Promotor, Detractor and Passives each receive a different set of questions based on their reply. Instead of having logic on multiple questions, each group has their own page and you can have the appropriate page appear based on the controlling (NPS question) response.

Easier ability to report on no valuesNo Status

Posting on behalf of customer.  It would be great to see the ability to report on absences of data.  We understand that this can be ID through the rules engine, and also reported one using data designer to get this information.  It would be nice to have this ability with out having to create a new DD or a rule

Limit/warning for Timeline activity date in the futureNo Status

Gainsight currently lets you select an activity date in Timeline for a date in the future. One of our CSM managers pointed out that this can be confusing, and can skew data in reports if this is done in error.I understand there are use cases where this is beneficial so I’m not suggesting completely limiting this ability, but it would great if a) when a timeline activity is created with a future activity date a confirmation popup could appear or b) maybe admins could have the ability to limit how far in the future a timeline activity could be created, or to not allow future activities to be created.

Problem statement: Not being able to add account object fields to rules loadable available fields.Reason: This required isCreateable permission on the fields.Workaround: 1)Grant "create permission" and move the fields over to available fields then remove the create permissions.2)Share the list of fields that needs to be added to the Gainsight team, so we can add them through the backend(add these fields to the available fields).Expectation: To come up with a long-term solution for the problem statement. i.e not to look for creatable permissions on fields while adding the fields to available fields.

In our Scorecard we have multiple measures in the Consumption Measure Group. We want to assign dynamic weightage to Individual measures based on the Product ARR. Say for example We have 4 Individual Measure : Product A, Product B, Product C, Product DAs of today each has 25% weightage and contribute to overall Consumption measure Group.We want to assign this weightage dynamically for each customer based on Product ARR. We have a channel where people around the company can engage with the Customer Success team. There are some great questions and conversations.The question I don’t like is “who is the CSM for _____” which is, of course, data that they can source on their own.What I’d like to do is be able to invite the Slack integration to this channel and have it subscribed to the message event and basically listen for that phrase. It can then come back and offer to help the user directly, as well as offering additional insights to the customer. We could reduce the CS work to reply, get the requester a faster response, and actually create more awareness of the data that is available through Gainsight.

Ability to report in dropdown listsNot Planned

Can we have the ability to report on dropdown list fields - similar to reporting on ‘sfdc’ Picklist object?Basic fields required in reporting - categories, gsids, name, short name and color. Issue - While working for a customer whose data got corrupted in Company object (which had a couple of dropdown list fields). We got backup from ops team but all the dropdown lists are in the form of GSIDs, I’m using network calls to identify the names of dropdown list values. This is too tedious and there’s no single place to identify all the dropdown lists and their corresponding items. If given an ability to report on the fields, it becomes easier to validate the existing items on dropdown lists like for the above case.
