Change colors in Survey 2.0 Analyze ChartsUnder Consideration

Hello,    I would like to be able to change colors on graphs for the Response Report under Surveys 2.0 analyze. I’ve learned from support this isn’t possible. Please see screenshot where a response of “Does Not Meet Expectations” is green and “Exceeds Expectations” is red. I would like to reverse these.

Support sending transactional (CSAT) surveys in email assistPlanned

There is no way to send out transactional surveys in email assist. Use case: Customer wants to send out a survey to a list of contacts as and when necessary in an ad-hoc manner. The survey needs to be associated with a project because it is a CSAT survey.  The customers wants to use the email assist functionality to send out these surveys associated with a project. Currently, this is not possible, not even with a linked object (Project being the linked object in the CTA). Are there any plans to improve this functionality? cc @roja_kode

Surveys Email Template - embedding a survey question in an imageNo Status

Hello Gainsight team,   I’m just working on creating a new email template to invite our customers to take a survey. I’d love to be able to add an image, some nice graphics as the survey link/prompt, rather than the boring button/link. This does not seem possible, at least in our version - any plans on making this available in near future please … pretty please? I love your overall product, I’m one of your biggest advocates but it’s little things like these that make my life difficult. Any help / advice much appreciated! Thanks Katerina

Ability to update custom fields in Bcc timelineUnder Consideration

Hi,   One of our customers had a situation where they needed to update a custom field in Activity timeline manually and would like to be have the ability to auto populate the value for bcc to timeline. Can this be done? please share your thoughts.

Need warning and better positioning of Save button while creating new fieldPlanned

This came up while working on some other issue, so thought of sharing this! This is with regards to creating new field inside an object. When you add an object, the secondary “save” button doesn’t appear without having to scroll down when you use Chrome. It’s not obvious that an additional save is required as there’s no warning, asking -if you want to save prior to navigating away. I would like to make a feature request that the button appear on the screen without having to scroll and such a warning populate.

Increasing field limit on 360 layout.Not Planned

Hi Team,   One of our customers have reached out to know if there is a way to increase the limit for fields in his R360 layout or if there is any workaround available?. Currently its at 100.   Please share your thoughts.

Quick way to create a Person from a Timeline DraftUnder Consideration

When forwarding an email to Timeline, it ends up in Drafts when the contact does not exist. It would be nice to be able to quickly add the email contact as a Person from the Timeline Draft before logging the Activity.

Add tasks when sending email to timeline via Gainsight Assist pluginPlanned

The Gainsight Assist Chrome plugin is really useful. It would even be greater if it were possible to add tasks to the resulting Timeline Activity directly from the plugin, in case you need to follow up on something related to the email.

Ability to check off tasks on a Timeline Activity without going to edit modeAcknowledged

Adding tasks directly to meeting notes on the Timeline saves a lot of time. However, to check them off, you need to go to cockpit or edit the Timeline Activity. It would be useful if you could check off tasks in a Timeline Activity without having to edit the Activity.

Create warning when export exceed limitsAcknowledged

The limitations for exports do not inform the user if there is data that is cut off due to the size. It would be extremely helpful to have a warning. Many of our users did not realize their exports were being cut off which leads to panic when needing to make last minute changes to presentations. This is especially common when we export usage data for Business Reviews that usually have usage for 6 months to 1 year.   We implemented a work around to have data exported to Domo and then we pull from there. However, it would be very useful and helpful to have a warning so that users know they need to pull the larger data set elsewhere.

Ability to copy a task, duplicate a task, or re use a taskNo Status

Creating tasks under objectives can take a few minutes to fill out completely. When there are multiple similar, but discrete tasks, it would be very beneficial to have the ability to either copy or duplicate a task, or re use the same task to create new ones. This would speed up task creation, and reduce admin time in creating the same things over and over. The ability to copy these within an objective, across objectives, and potentially across individual accounts would be excellent.

Any plans to expand the Survey Questions repository?Not Planned

Hello Folks!   Are there any plans to expand the Survey 2.0 questions repositories? Every time I build a survey I struggle with the questions‘ format available, being left frustrated wanting more options, for example: NPS question - I like the smiley faces but don’t like the colours which can be seen as “leading on”. The only option seems to be to have the smileys with the colours or no colours and stuck with a text above 0 and 10. The text isn’t always applicable to transactional surveys so could it be edited? Ranking - today I tried to add a question to rank or rate 7 different sections of a seminar. I wanted to use something else than matrix 0-10, and the only options I had was the reordering (difficult on the phone) and stars. Wanting to go with the stars, I soon figured I cannot use them as it’s only one star rating per question, rather than one question, then 7 answers being ranked via stars. So I had to go back to matrix format Stars ranking - is it possible to have 0 stars

MultiCurrency in Data DesignerAcknowledged

Hi Team, In Multi Currency orgs, When we build Data designer and add currency fields we are displaying the values with Corporate currency for currency, if its of different currency then we are converting them into Corporate currency and displaying them. But users reached out to us requesting to display them in local currency instead of Conversion. Can you please look into this and see if this can be added in future roadmap. Thanks, Prathap

Display "last modified date" on Scorecard Mass Edit reportUnder Consideration

We’ve had requests to be able to see from a Mass Edit report when the measure/group was last modified - this is particularly handy for manually entered scores, but could be helpful for any score.   Clicking on the Timeline entry icon, you can see any relative Timeline entries for the score - but if there are no TL entries OR if the score has been changed since the last TL entry was created, it can be misleading.   Would be great if you could hover over a score measure or group and see when it was last modified, kinda like this:

Error not showing for long enough time.Acknowledged

Hi team,   We have a customer reporting an issue where an error from data designer not being displayed for long enough to read it. The customer is having to recreate the error again and again to understand it. And it is causing them great inconvenience.     Is it possible to display it a bit longer? Please share your thoughts.

S3 Notification box improvement.Not Planned

This is a feedback I would like to share  on-behalf of one client. While listing the email for the notification, if you first copy/paste the list of email with leading or trailing spaces the system commits it with that email address and when email is triggered it gets bounced. Now, if you hit re-save, the system strips of the spaces and then commit that back without any space. Can we have the system do that in the very beginning not when we re-save it?       Initially - “  abc@gainsight.com”, “xyz@gainsight.com”  After re-save - “abc@gainsight.com”, “xyz@gainsight.com”

Failed records for different Actions should show in different Execution Log tabsPlanned

Had a rule partially fail on two actions yesterday. Action 1 had 3921 records fail. Action 2 had 78 records fail.   I expected to see two tabs containing the failed records - one tab for A1 and another for A2 - instead I only see one.   I don’t recall this having been the case in the past - maybe I’ve just been extremely lucky not to have more than one action failure in a rule.     Regardless, it would be really helpful for each action to have a separate tab.  It’s irksome to have to scroll through 3900+ records to get to the details regarding Action 2 failed records.

Show email templates in folders for the Chrome pluginPlanned

Wanted to know whether with the gmail plugin templates if there was a way to create folders for the end user to dial into as opposed to them just all being listed. We have our Renewals team templates and are creating CSM templates and i'm afraid it's going to get too cluttered.   Currently according to the doc this is not possible.

Rules Engine: stablish a "try again" option for RulesNo Status

I’ve been running into some rules that produce failed records due to timing issues, i.e. a rule runs that trying to populate a field on the Company object, but the Company hasn’t been created yet because the latest sync hasn’t run yet. It would be a nice enhancement to be able to set a flag on specific rules to have the rule “try again” after X amount of time to  re-run against records that failed.

Allow punctuation in Dataset Task namesNo Status

This is more of a nuisance than anything - but when objects contain punctuation, the auto-naming function within datasets fail.  Would be nice if it the Task either allowed punctuation OR auto-removed the punctuation for you like it does in the Output Dataset Name field. (Preferably option 1.)  Wouldn’t be so bad except there are several Gainsight system objects that contain punctuation in the name:

Email from Timeline: Give admins control over which types and/or fields are includedNo Status

We’ve opted not to enable our end users on Email from Timeline just yet because it has some potential risk associated with it. Admins need to have more granular control over  For which Timeline types this feature is enabled. Which fields can be included in the email. We have some Timeline entries that contain fields that capture internal details pertaining to the interaction. For example, on our Meeting type, we have Sentiment and Engagement fields that help us capture customer sentiment and engagement related to that specific event. Because we do not have a way to “hide” those fields when you initiate the Email from Timeline for a record, the burden then falls to the end user to remember to delete those fields from the email.   That is risky, especially considering it could have values that we leverage internally that could upset the customer if they were to see them:   In general, this is a great feature, but as with most things it isn’t (and shouldn’t be) a one-size-fits-all

Ability to load to a multi-select dropdown via Rules EngineAcknowledged

Use case: For my Load to People rule, I need to map a multi-select field from SFDC (Contact: Role Type) to a multi-select dropdown I created for the corresponding field on the Company Person object. How can I do this without using a case expression transformation to account for each possible variation?

Custom Colours for CTA TypesNo Status

With the new release I have to say I am not loving the available colour options for the CTA types, reasons, status’s etc please can we choose our own custom ones.... Also FYI they don’t appear to be very accessible, the contrast between background (white) and some of the colours is very small. And with limited options to choose from its hard to not end up with at least 1 of them in our list.

Current Health Score value as an option for visible feilds when searchingAcknowledged

Under Search Configuration for Company/Relationship, we cannot add the current health score value as a visible field when searching records. There is a string value for Current Score and Previous Score (GSID) but not the numeric value or label which would be a helpful reference when using the search bar.

Manually Adjust CTA Tasks (with or without a due date)No Status

I have a customer that would like to be able to manually adjust the order of CTA tasks when a new manual task is added to a program.    They would like the dynamic aspect of being able to edit the order inside a live CTA.
