Right now, the "time granularity" setup that determines the day of week a customer's week starts (usually Sunday or Monday) still resides in the "Usage Configuration" tab in Administration. This tab is rarely used anymore. Could we move this to Application Settings? Seems to make more sense and therefore more noticeable for admins.
Column options in CockpitWorkaround Available
Would like to be able to choose other objects for column options instead of just the current ones. For example, we'd like to display the Customer Sentiment score in addition to the overall HS, but since it's not on the Account or Customer Info object, it's not an option.
It would be nice if people without Gainsight access (viewer or full) can view survey responses. Maybe this is a setting on the Survey properties. Our use case is that we send out Implementation surveys weekly and only a couple members on that team who manage the results have access. It would be nice to be able to share result URLs with the project manager that worked on that account. We were able to save responses as PDFs in the past but I think with the NXT migration something changed. Now, when you go to Print and save responses as a PDF it only prints 1-2 questions on the page, resulting in having to print multiple PDFs or take screen shots for one survey result. The first suggestion is preferable but the second would suffice
Three Survey Admin UX requestsUnder Consideration
1. Allow folders or categories or some other way to manage long lists of surveys. I'd like to be able to collapse under business unit or type of survey, for example. 2. There is a mouseover link on the number of respondents in the Survey card. It's non-functional. I'd like to be able to pop up the list of respondents from this link. The same list you get when you click the Responded bar in the survey analytics. 3. Could we show Last Send Date and Last Response Date right on the survey card in the admin panel? See attached marked up screen shot.
Email notification when exporting more than 100k records.Partially Fixed
Currently when exporting to a CSV from report builder there is a hard limit of 100k records where the export won’t process if you’re trying to export more than that. The workaround is exporting it to an S3 bucket. Currently there is no notification/email saying that you’re trying to export more than 100k records. It would be nice to have that type of functionality in the future.
Deletion logs for MDA objectsUnder Consideration
Hi Team, Currently we have audit logs for Low Custom objects if data is modified. Can we track the deletion of records too, so when a record is missing Customers can check the log and confirm if it’s deleted. If the above is not possible then can we have deletion logs for Objects like Company/User/Relationship and Person objects. Since this is sensitive information, logs will be very useful in this context. Thanks,Prathap
Roll up of children data while exporting success snapshot at parent account level.Under Consideration
Hi Team, Customer is looking to export success snapshot at parent level. However, while doing so, the data is exported just for that particular account irrespective of the Data from Children being checked at C360 level. Is it possible to get data of children too rolled up and exported at snapshot level when the checkbox is checked?
Need to track the Rule Historic ChangesUnder Consideration
Team, One of our client is looking to track history of changes/updates made to Rules. Currenlty we are only storing the updated Rule metadata but as per the client they want the know the historic data who had made the changes/updates to a specific Rules in past as well.
Issue management admin processNo Status
Good morning Gainsight friends, I recently established our internal process as Admins for how we manage and communicate issues amongst ourselves. I shared this back with my Gainsight CSM, Courtney, and she said she had not seen any other clients create a process like this. Maybe someone out there will find this useful! I created the below flowchart in Visio, and most steps contain a clickable link with more detailed directions on what to do at that step in the process. For example, Research Issue has detailed instructions in 2 sections. The first section is on Admin pages for basic troubleshooting of different components of Gainsight. The second section is about Outside Resources and explains when and how to use systems like Gainsight Community and past Gainsight tickets our organization created to gather more information. I am happy to share more details about the process we use here at athenahealth and can answer any questions here on Community. I would also appreciate any f
Ability to copy excel data to Gainsight TimelineUnder Consideration
Hi Team, We’re unable to copy the excel data to Timeline. The screen-recording is for your reference. https://share.getcloudapp.com/eDu99xev When I’m trying to copy the excel data to ‘Timeline’ , nothing happens and cursor disappears. Can you please have a look at this.
Email Benchmark ReportsNo Status
I’m wondering if Gainsight could/has any plans to produce benchmark reports - specifically around email metrics? A lot of times when we report metrics to stakeholders, they ask how it compares to the industry standard but most benchmark reports generated from Eloqua/Hubspot/Sendgrid etc are predominantly prospect metrics, which isn’t an equatable baseline. If not by Gainsight, does anyone know of any thought-leadership that provides customer-specific email benchmark reports?
Attach multiple files to email templates at one timeUnder Consideration
My field team sends emails daily, about 6 - 7 a day and they work remotely. It would be great to be able to attach multiple files at the same time . Currently, the system only allows for 1 attachment at a time. We attach 2 -3 report with each email!
Activity subject predictive textNot Planned
As a CSM I need the Activity subject field to use predictive text based on my recent entries so I can save time (less keystrokes) and improve quality (fewer spelling errors). Use case: CSM typically created Quarterly Performance Coaching meetings in Gainsight. If predictive text was available, she might only need to type a Q, then select the most recent words used by clicking.
When we export Gainsight analyzer report, for Reports that are created on Dataspace, we see source object name as API names of corresponding objects, that DS has been created on; and not the DS names. There are cases where more than one DS is created on one object. Can we please have the DS names instead of DS source object API names?
When you look at the list of ongoing success plans, it appears that the default order is dictated by creation date, meaning that plans still active that should have been closed—but haven’t been—would appear first before the actual current plan. I would love to see an option to change how the plans are displayed, which one shows by default, etc.
Recently, we switched to using A-F grading display for Scorecards instead of numeric. We want to use + and - for A-, B+, B-, etc. However, when configuring, I'm unable to add the + symbol to the Settings. The Minus (-) sign works and is displayed but + will present an error when trying to display.
