Allow Serverside search for picklistAcknowledged

In the report builder grid, we have two types of searches Clientside and ServerSide based on one condition that is the size of searchable items(records). 1. Clientside search will search the grid results directly (if the records count is less than 1000). 2. In the case of ServerSide search, if the report result is more than 1000 records and you do an inline search it will search at the Database level. So, when you applied the filter, the records were limited and the Clientside search was performed. In the case of no filter, the record count was more and it came under ServerSide search. Here, ServerSide search for picklist is disabled which is expected. Can we enable this for picklist type field.

Show both Survey 1.0 and 2.0 Data on C360Under Consideration

We would like to be able to see the ability to show both 1.0 and 2.0 survey data on the C360. Looking at other posts the only option we have is to migrate the survey. Customer would like to leave 1.0 survey in place for now and be able to view all survey responses. Is this something that we might be able to address?

When reviewing an individual accounts NPS and survey responses from the standard Survey section of the C360, the count of responses you are viewing is not displayed (only the responses themselves). It would be helpful to be able to see the number of total NPS survey responses, and total Survey responses, within this section at a glance.

Option to Bulk-load users before enabling slackAcknowledged

Hi Team, As of now, there is an option to select each user manually to load before we enable sally access But there is no option to, bulk select all users to load. Request to implement this feature. Please let us know your thoughts on this. I attached the screenshot for reference.

[Feature Request] Be able to do Attachments in Call To Action for NXTNo Status

Post on Behalf of a Customer. In SFDC Edition, attachments within CTAs can be enabled with the use of SFDC Chatter Groups. https://support.gainsight.com/SFDC_Edition/Cockpit_and_Playbooks/Admin_Guides/01_Configure_CTA_File_Attachments In NXT, simliar feature hasn’t been implementated yet hence this request to add the feature there. One could possibly do attachments in CTA level timeline, but doing attachments with CTA view would make things more friendly and less clicks.

Team, One of our client is looking to track history of changes/updates made to Rules. Currenlty we are only storing the updated Rule metadata but as per the client they want the know the historic data who had made the changes/updates to a specific Rules in past as well.

Data Designer - Ability to report on individual tasks

Hi, While using data designer, we come across scenarios where we tend to address multiple issues using a single design. But if I have to report, I can use only the last task from the design. If we are given the ability to report on individual tasks - it could reduce redundant designs and reduce multiple objects in the data management section.

Sally Add Attributes to Sally DropdownNot Planned

In my instance, we have companies and accounts in sally. When someone searches a name it gives a list of all accounts and the company, but no indicator of which one it is. For example, when I search a company name it gives a drop down that looks like: Company Name Company Name There is not way for me to know which one is the account and which is the company. Can we add attributes to the drop down. For example, so it can show up like this: Company Name - Company Company Name - Account

Scorecard activities in tabluar reportUnder Consideration

The new scorecard activity feed looks like a great way to view histroical updates, but how can these updates be incorproated into a tabular or drill down report? We have our CSMs add comments on the overall health score to provide additional context. I pull in the comments field to many reports to make it easy to contextualize health going as one reviews one by one. With the activity feed, will there be a way to add the most recent update into a report such as this? Or will I need to create a rule to update the comments with the most recent update?

We would like rules engine rules to be able to scope items edited/created within the past x hours (e.g. in a Post to Slack external action)- but we can only limit based on days today, even if the value is a timestamp.

Testing Emails - include attachmentsNo Status

When sending test emails the attachments will not come through, this makes testing and making sure the attachments show up a bit difficult and rather confusing. I would like if the test emails included the attachments.

Ability to configure Data Design execution email notifications (Success or Fail)Under Consideration

We recently begin testing the Data Designer beta for custom data spaces. We setup the data space and scheduled it to refresh daily. However, we receive an email notification that informs us of the successful execution of the refresh for the data space. It would be great to have the same Rules Engine notification setup where we can decide if we want the notification for the refresh status via email when Successful or Failures. DB

Historic Timeline attachments Sync to SalesforceNot Planned

Hi Team, Currently, we are not sycing the historical attachments from activity Timelie to Salesforce. Let’s say if we havn’t enable the Sync attachments option and synced the Timeline entires to SFDC and later if we enabled the same option and re-run the Sync it will Sync the attachments “Only those attachments which are added after turning on this switch, are synced to Salesforce”. Can we have an option like to sync the historical attachments as well. If above ask is not possible at least can we have any custom API to access those activity attachments from the MDA.

Deleted Measures are still "Active"Planned

I am creating this idea based on Gainsight ticket 96687. Currently, when a Scorecard Measure is deleted, it is still considered “active” in reports and rules within Gainsight. There are several active filters and all of them will return results for deleted measures. Please fix this so that deleted measures are Inactive measures for accuracy in reporting and rules on current measures.

NXT Hybrid Email to Gainsight Draft emails when not logged inUnder Consideration

This is for NXT Hybrid. If you are logged into SFDC and get a timeline draft email clicking the link takes you to the NXT tab and to the correct timeline page. However, if you are not logged in to Salesforce, the link will not work correctly. This post is an idea to develop a solution.

Scorecard Timeline: Modify score and create timeline entry simultaneouslyUnder Consideration

When creating a Scorecard Timeline activity, it captures the value of the measure for which you’re making the entry. For manual measures, though, it requires you first to make the manual change to the measure then go create the activity. It would save clicks if you could combine creating the Scorecard TImeline activity at the same time you’re modifying the score, either from within the TImeline entry itself during creation or by allowing the capture of comments while modifying the Measure and the system then automatically creates a Timeline Activity capturing the change.

Bulk update success plan as activeAcknowledged

Hi Team, We have a customer who is looking to bulk update the success plan by making them as Status as “Active”. Currently we don't have this feature in gainsight. Reason: We are unable to close the relationship level CTA's via rule because they are part of a success plans which weren’t active. When the success plan isn't active, corresponding CTA's also wouldn't be active. The rule was showing zero fail and zero pass. Impact: We need to go to each success plan and make them active manually. Best, Hardik

Notes and Attachments to reflect similar lists of attachment as in Accounts page related section of SFDC in Gainsight C360Not Planned

In recent days, we ended up CSMs asking for similar ability where they could attach necessary files using Gainsight c360 layout that we have in Salesforce Accounts related tab “Notes and Attachments” section. Functionality helps CSM to look for what contracts they have signed and which contact has to be reached for ease of communication with right customer contacts at need of hours. We did build a solution having a report on Attachments and link to C360 layout using ParentID field as the customer id lookup. Apparently solution worked, however retained only with direct files to the customer/account id but the lists show up is not exactly as SFDC related tab. Where as, SFDC does reflect files associated even to its contacts task, events, notes etc I reached to support team of Gainsight and they where directed saying it could be achieved via VFP, but again, managing VFPs developed by internal IT had overlaying issue on Gainsight page layouts and if this feature is developed by Gainsight

Option to pick whether to create SF Task or Event depending on activity type in SFWorkaround Available

Currently with the GS Timeline → SF sync you can create either Events or Tasks in SF and this applies to all activity types. We would like to be able to specify per activity type which type it would create. I’d see this working by moving the option to choose within the UI to the table view so it can done on a case by case. There are some required fields for events in SF (like duration) which don’t apply to some timeline entries, and currently we have to force entry of a number in this field to make it sync.

Two-way sync for Timeline -> SF Events/TasksUnder Consideration

Would like the functionality to enable SF events created via the Activity Sync from GS to write-back to the original timeline entry with updated information. Use case: Our clients purchase professional service hours by way of an order form on SF (added as product line item). Once a session has been delivered the CSM logs this via the Timeline as an activity, and then we push that activity, via the Activity Sync, to SF as events. We then run a fulfilment logic on the created event to remove the provided number of hours from the clients’ available figure (if they have any). When this logic happens we update the event (in SF) to state whether it has been fulfilled or not, and how many hours we took for it (for example a 90 minute session would take 2 hours). This additional information only sits within SF but ideally any updates to the event/task in SF would then update the relevant timeline entry in GS. This would allow us to provide reporting in GS on how many that were supposed
