If the opportunity is deleted in SFDC, it should be ideally deleted from Renewal center.

If the opportunity is deleted in SFDC, it should be ideally deleted from Renewal center.

Currently, we do not have this functionality. Request to look into this.

@minh_phan - any thoughts?

Correct, records deleted in salesforce do not get deleted in GS Opportunity object. The recommended approach is to change the stage or forecast category to omitted/closed error. etc.

It is a limitation with Connectors 2.0. @sumesh on any plans.

Regarding the comment above, is there any plan for this behavior to change?
If not, would it be possible to at least allow admin to set a standard behavior for what to do when the SFDC instance of an opportunity is deleted? It would be great if the cleanup process was automated, rather than manual.

We are actively working on an enhancement to synchronize deletions from salesforce. This has been in development and expected to GA by May.

@minh_phan will this be available for all instances or do you have to use renewal center for this to be activated?

Hello Everyone!

Happy to announce that your request has been considered and included as part of the v6.15 release. You can now delete Opportunity Records from GS Opportunity. You can use this operation if Connector or Rules criteria has changed to sync fewer opportunities. This also removes the opportunity from Data Science history. However, this operation does not delete opportunity records from your CRM or related Timeline entries.

This feature is implemented in both SFDC and NXT versions.

Thanks for posting!

How can I delete records in the GS Opportunity object if we don’t use Renewal Centre?
