Enhance Sally CTA Creation fields

There may already be a post out there somewhere but I cannot find it.

The ability to create a CTA through Sally is useful, but it would be even more useful if

A) users could select a Reason while creating through Sally (otherwise every CTA ends up logging with the same reason code, and users forget to go manually change it) 

B) if admins could establish required fields that also need to be completed.  


 

This needs more attention. Part of the draw of Sally is meeting people where they’re at - instead of needing to change systems to create a CTA you can do it from Slack. But if you have to go back to Gainsight to:

  • Select Priority
  • Reason
  • ANY custom field

Then that creates a number of challenges:

 

  • Users will need to go back to Cockpit and update their CTAs with that information anyways which ends up being more steps overall
  • When that inevitably doesn’t happen (because it is more cumbersome), you get data hygiene issues, possible impacts to downstream processes (e.g. for Risk, you may lose visibility if a status and field isn’t populated/correct) etc.
  • As a result, hygiene has to be even more micromanaged taking resources away from the actual work needing to be done
