Customer want to update company person record based in Person iD only. As we know the currently we are using Company id and Person Id as identifiers on Company person object.
Use case:
if an individual moves from one SFDC Account to another that it updates the Company association on the Company Person record instead of creating a new Company Person record

Can I know how the data load is done? Is it using Rules or the Connector jobs?
In SF, is a new contact created when the company changes or is the account id changed to map to the new account?

They are loading Via rule. and In SF we can update the Account for an existing contact. But that’s not possible in GS.Â

This is currently not as per our Person model. Our Person model is to map the existing contacts across all the companies they have worked with to maintain history of the contact.
The Company Person will need to be manually made inactive. By re assciating the same Company Person to another company, all the entries like Timeline, CTA Etc would get orphaned.Â
