Hi Team,
Currently, if the success plan is in draft state and if we try to open a CTA from report or from notification link its throwing an error – “The CTA you are trying to access could not be found as it might be in draft state or deleted or due to a system error.”
As the error message is not referring to Success plan but referring to CTA, can we change it to “The associated Success plan is in draft state, so the CTA you are trying to access could not be found” it will make the customers easily understandable.
Redirecting this to the product team for more visibility.
Thank you for the feedback. The suggested microcopy makes sense. Will include the change in the roadmap.
Hello, is this still on the roadmap?
Yes the change is microcopy is in medium term roadmap.
Ran into this same issue recently, it hasn’t been fixed.
Also found that Gainsight Home Portfolio Summary has an Open CTA attribute, this also includes Success Plan CTAs that are in a draft state which is very misleading as it’s hard to find these CTAs.
Not sure why this attribute is including these CTAs in a draft state.
Why is this even a thing? Why can the URLs not link to objectives where a Success Plan is in Draft? I don’t think the problem is the copy, I think the problem is that the links don’t work to begin with. The CTA exists, and you can link to it - there’s no reason you should get an error clicking on the URL.
This is a terrible user experience. Here is the current workflow:
Instead, you could do something like this:
Can we get some help with this@anirbandutta ?
