Instead of outright ignoring - we are planning to show inactive values in a disabled state.
How does this sort of a disabled state look? Will this help solve the problem?
Hi@rakesh ,
Thank you for implementing the disabled state for inactive users on Home page. Can we implement the same behavior on cockpit filter where the inactive users appear as greyed out? As per the current set-up, the inactive users appear as active ones. Please have a look at the following gif for the same:

This would be very helpful - having different UX experiences for ‘inactive’ in different places of the platform that otherwise look and act exactly the same has been hard to explain as ‘not a bug’ ;)

Yes@sahil_nazir the idea is to see if this works and then move this to other areas of Gainsight. cc: @sriram pasupathi for cockpit filters.

Agree@adam_bam the idea is to have eventual consistent experience across filters, starting with one area and evaluating how the solution works. All these asks do help us accelerate that!
Hi all -- during a Support call I was directed to this thread. We are seeing inactive, greyed out users appearing for certain users still when they’re entering their name in a Home global filter. It would be excellent if you could hide inactive user management records from appearing here. Thanks!
We are having a similar issue, so was asked to explore the community and find out about it. We want to know if we can prevent inactive users to not show as option when searching for user in dashboard filters. We differentiate between Active and Inactive users in GS by appending name of user with inactive and inactivating the user but we are able to see those users when we search for that user with appended Inactive word next to their name in dashboard filters when looking for other user. They do seem greyed out but users are still able to click on those greyed out ones.
