Allow CTA created without Customer attached

Currently, creating a new CTA requires you to input a Customer. Our team often needs CSM-level CTAs that aren't associated with specific customers but more of an "account pool" action.

Would be great if we could allow this to remain open if a broader task.

I've heard this request a few times, Kate.  Thanks for posting!  A short-term suggestion in this area that I know some other customers have done is put an account into Gainsight for your own company and use it for "internal" or broader activities like you're describing.  We actually have this at Gainsight too -- it's just a record in SFDC that's a customer in Gainsight and I can log non-customer specific activities there.  Hope that helps.
