Date Filters in Email VariantsResponse from Customer
The advanced logic for email variant filters is great! We have been able to simplify our email processes significantly with them. However, I would suggest making date fields available as options to filter by. We have variants of an email that simply need to be filtered by whether a date field is populated or not. I haven't seen this possibility anywhere, but I am more than happy to be proven wrong.
How to find the skipped rulesNo Status
A rule chain was scheduled run every day at 6 AM. but unfortunately, it didn’t ran on 3rd Feb.But customer observed the same after 30 days. It could be great if we have a feasibility to know the list of rules which didn’t ran on a particular day.Currently, we can get the notification for failure/Success rule status but we don’t have an Option to get notified for skipped rules. It’s difficult for customer to check manually for every day.
Hi all,We have a user who would like to use his iPad to take notes on within Gainsight while in meetings. While the Gainsight app appears perfectly fine on a mobile device, it does not seem optimized for iPads. When using the app on an iPad, the app appears to be stuck in vertical orientation with no option to orient horizontally. You’ll also notice (see screenshot here, blocked out for security purposes) that the app appears to remain the size as if it were still open on a mobile device. You’ll also see a screenshot of the virtual keyboard that is very difficult to use with the app functioning this way. I’m wondering if anyone has any suggestions for optimizing the Gainsight app on an iPad, or if this idea may even be in the roadmap as a future implementation. Thanks!
When syncing picklist values to GS via the SFDC connector it matches based on the SF API Name instead of Value, this means if values are re-labelled in SFDC and we want to show the same update in GS the sync no longer works. E.g. here the M&A option has it’s value been changed to Media & EntertainmentSo we’ve updated the name in GS too; But now any attempting at syncing fails for records with these values;
The current default for the activity types that are created by the google calendar integration on the home page is “Meeting”. Unfortunately, that is an inactive activity type for us and not one we want to use. We would like the default to be one we have called “External Meeting”. We would like a configuration to determine what the default should be. Even better would be have filters to define what the default should be. For example, if all the attendees have an internal domain email, then make the default “Internal Meeting”. If any have an external domain, then make it “External Meeting”.
It would be nice if the attendees that were capture for the activity were only the ones that accepted the meeting invite. We noticed that it will include all attendees regardless if they plan to attend or not. For example, we had one meeting with 20 external attendees that were invited, but maybe only 10 accepted. The CSM had to manually identify and remove the attendees that didn't accept the meeting.
Currently, the google calendar integration is showing meetings that I have declined. There is no reason I can think of to show these. I would never add an activity for a meeting I never attended. Think these should just be filtered out or have a configuration setting to turn this on or off.
Right now all tasks created within timeline activities create a new CTA called “to do: activity name”. Sometimes these tasks are related to existing CTAs and we’d like the ability to put those tasks under the relevant CTAs instead of creating a new one. What this would look like is that when naming the due date and owner, we could also just name the CTA (if one already exists already) that the tasks should be created under. It would be nice if the CTAs within that company/relationship were already there as a picklist instead of having to search for it by name.
Hello! My team has a feature request for Surveys. Currently, you need to use non-anonymous surveys to track the account/contact submitting the survey. We are rolling out a self-assessment survey, similar to Gainsight's O2 framework, as a pre-requisite for Success Planning. We would like to offer this to customers with a reusable link but associate to the account/contact after the survey submission, which is not available today. We will be proactively sharing this with our dedicated CSM and Low Touch customers via programs/email assist. However, we would also like to publish in additional places so all customers, including Tech Touch, can find/submit organically. Ideally, we would like to post a reusable link in-app (via Pendo), our customer training site, and emails sent outside of Gainsight. Thank you :)
Hi Team, Currently, we won't be able to use the CTA Object in mass edit to change the owner of the objective as an auto-added filter is in place. Customer would like to be able to reassign the assignee. I know it is not on near term roadmap. But can we priortize it? Customer has to do lot of manual efforts to change each assignee. Best,Hardik
Posting on behalf of the customerCustomer wants to be able to complete other actions while editing comments on a CTA, without the comments disappearing before saving. Something similar to the timeline draft functionality. Is this something that we can create a roadmap for?
allow bulk updates to Gainsight timelineAcknowledged
we have a few use cases where having the ability to write to Gainsight timeline in bulk would be highly useful Examples: If a CSM leaves PatientPop without notice, we would like to bulk upload an account transition note into timeline for all of their accounts at once rather than one by one. If a CSM gives their notice, we'd like to bulk upload their account transition notes into timeline using a spreadsheet rather then have them tediously click through each account individually. When we receive a survey response from a customer to our various CSAT, NPS and product surveys, we'd like to automatically record the score/verbatim feedback into timeline.
Make Column Width in Rules Engine StickyImplemented
The new Horizon UI for Rules Engine cuts off the rule names. In order to see them, I have to change the column width, but it doesn’t stick so every time I navigate away and back I have to readjust. If it can be made either sticky or dynamic to fit the rule name this would be better.
Working in JO I see you can’t save a program unless you have participants. We setup the criteria for the participants but due to the filters no one met the criteria for that day. I should still be able to save the program with the understanding that eventually someone would meet the filter criteria and the program will run. I saw another post with this issue and the workaround was to create a dummy record that met the criteria so you could save but would like a better solution to save the program even if no participants meet the filter criteria yet. Here is the older post with the workaround marked as solved.
Hi Team, Posting this request on customer’s behalf. With HA enablement Mass edit reports are no longer supported to be added as related lists in 360 pages which makes it difficult to achieve certain use cases like below. Use case:The mass edit scorecard reports on the C360 give us a good visual of all the "child" accounts underneath the Parent using Account Hierarchy.
Hi Team,As per current product setup and support article: https://support.gainsight.com/Gainsight_NXT/Connectors_(Horizon_Experience)/Sightline_Integrations/DB_Based_Connectors/Snowflake_Connector, Gainsight does not support fetching TIMESTAMP_NTZ data type from Snowflake (Attached screenshot from support article). We have a use case where we are looking to import a field from Snowflake with the Datatype of Timestamp_NTZ. Can we please consider this? Also, please let us know if we have any workarounds until this gets implemented
99% of the changes we make to the Company object are done through scheduled rules. Our CS team generally does not make manual updates (by design.) This sort of defeats the purpose of real-time rules for us, since they would only be triggered when our SCHEDULED rules change something in the company object.I would love to be able to trigger real-time rules based on changes/updates to objects that are more likely to be updated in real-time. Example objects would be - survey objects, timeline activities, CTAs, etc.
Allow the same level of Global Filter configuration on Gainsight Home as is available for DashboardsUnder Consideration
The limitations of the GS Home filters are now even more apparent now that we can have different GS Home Layouts and assign them to other users. In the current configuration the Cockpit and Timeline sections of Gainsight home are filtered to the CTAs and TL Entries that are linked to the COMPANY objects that the user filter identifies. If the User (CSM, TAM, etc) has CTAs or TL entries linked to companies outside that filter logic, they do NOT show up. This became very apparent when we made a layout for our TAMs who support many customers where they are not the “dedicated” TAM on the account, and their CTAs and TL entries do not show up in GS Home.Another issue with the limited configurations is the inability to apply a filter to a different data object other than Company or Relationship. This makes it impossible to filter Data Designer data sets, or SalesForce Data sets like you can in the Dashboard Global Filters. I get that it is trying to make it simple, or easy, but limiting
While sending emails to customers from JO we need an option to hide or show the area of text from email templates For eg.Customer A has purchased 3 products, the email should sayproduct A: 100% deployedproduct B: 80% deployedproduct C: 60% deployed Customer B has purchased 2 products A and B, the email should sayproduct A: 100% deployedproduct B: 80% deployedand it should hide other products from email template.
Reporting on Multi-Select Picklist FieldsUnder Consideration
We have 6 multi-select picklist fields we are currently using to track feature limitations that are blocking our customers from moving to the next generation of our product. These fields represent 6 main product lines and have anywhere from 3-16 feature options each. I have a few requests from our team to report on these items in the following formats... 1. A pie or bar chart showing the total number of accounts that have each feature selected 2. Report of the top 5 features across all 6 product lines The issues I'm running into are 1. These are 6 different fields and 2. Gainsight doesn't allow us to group by or aggregate multi-select fields. The only reporting option I've been able to come up with is just adding all 6 fields in the 'show me' section of a report along with Account Name and enabling row grouping by account. The only way I see today to show a count by feature is to filter by an individual feature and create a widget for each one....which isn&
Cockpit Column name handlingNo Status
We are finding different functionality in NXT vs SFDC when it comes to Cockpit columns, In SFDC if we go to add “priority name” we get the column header to show “priority name“ as expected. In NXT when we go to add the same it shows in the config Priority > Name and then only shows the name: For ease of use, we would like the ability to either add an alias or both names in the field.
